Westside Pawn and Jewelry W 3500 S, West Valley City

This pawn shop is beyond the best. I was going to be a week late picking up my items and they were so sweet and held on to my stuff for me . Other pawn shops would have sold my items. Hands down the best

I wanted to review Westside Pawn & Jewelry. I live close to this shop & over the course of 20 years, have purchased, pawned & pawn loaned dozens of items @ dozens of pawn shops. Westside pawn has always been accommodating yet fair with great customer service. Their equipment is tested & sold for a fair amount & business has always been hassle free. Due to Covid’s economic challenges along with holiday costs, I was forced to pawn loan some guns & a Xbox. I estimated the probable price beforehand as well as the best pawn shop in the valley for the items I had. I knew the price would be close but still short of what I needed for my bills. Somehow during the transaction, the phrase “a Christmas miracle” was mentioned. I replied that rarely had I seen or been part of a Christmas Miracle. To make a long ending short, I was given a noticeable larger amount then needed. While there are larger pawn shops in the valley, I definitely recommend Westside Pawn & Jewelry.

This place will use your equipment you pawn for a loan. Do not pawn here!!! I caught them sneaking in a tool I came to pick up. They said they couldn't find it so I sat in back and waited until I saw the owner drive up and bring it in the back door.

GREAT place to pawn. Best interest. I shopped around and it's definitely cheapest rate in town, plus they are very generous and hold on to your item if you are late and let them know you will be late. 5 stars

Acted put out and blew me off when asked if anyone had come in with very specific rare coins that were stolen. So if you have hot items might be a good option.

I've been going to this pawn shop for years. I ABSOLUTELY love how they treat their costumers, and how they sell stuff. I TOTALLY recommend this pawn shop to EVERYONE!!!! If I could I would give these guys 10 stars.

The staff has treated me excellently every time I've gone in. I trust the owners and know they are honest and good people. You have to accept certain things when you take your random items in for his cash money, having said that I've never had the feeling that I was veinh taken advantage of.or being mistreated. This was the first place I ever pawned anything and to date its the only place I've ever gone and I've been pawning alot of my possessions over the last 3-4 years. In fact it's the only place I'll go. I understand that the owner is running a business and I dont expect a happy ending with every exchange but I do come close everytime and once on the counter.

This pawn shop has always been good to me. They are honest hard working people that just want to help thier customers. I will always use them when I'm looking to pawn anything or if I need a loan. I recomend anyone to give them a try.

I took my Warlock in to pawn it earlier today, and the dude behind the counter said that he can only give me 30 for it, and was giving me the judgment that I wasn't going to be coming back for it. And his attitude toward me and the guitar was not in any way professional, or polite. If I have to pawn another guitar, or anything else, at some time in the future, I will not be coming here.

They are not fair at all on what they offer customers, they sale their products for way too much. The service was okay and they were fast but in today's world we need the dollar amount to be right. They are not, he will lowball you as bad as he can. I would not go see these guys again. There are much better places out there then west side pawn. I basically went in to test this company and they have failed big time
