    Very poor experience. When presented legal documentation of guardianship to manage my mom’s account (who has been declared legally incapacitated due to early onset Alzheimer’s disease), access to accounts was refused. Although this is not a legal requirement, it was demanded that: 1) an official sealed document was required (copies are acceptable) 2) the request must be made in person 3) the incapacitated person needed to be present (???) 4) requests must be made at the branch where the account was opened While the people at the branch were helpful, however no one from the corporate office would even answer a phone call. My sister drove an hour (each way) to be refused access to be able to pay my mother’s bills - namely the mortgage that is also held by Wells Fargo. This is also after being informed of the hows and why’s and presented with legal documentation. I believe this is the first review I have posted in 15+ years of being a google user, and I do hope it is my last. If you are interested in opening an account, please take your money elsewhere. Let an organization who will treat you like a person make money off the interest on your assets… because if you did happen to find yourself in a situation where you needed something back from your loyalty as a customer, you will not get it back from this bank.

    Stephanie assisted me ( I believe she is manager) I never met a more polite professional and superb individual in the field! She took care of me ASAP!     I came to close my account and they basically wouldn't let me. They said I would have had to wait hours. This is ridiculous. If they reply to this comment, I don't care about your crocodile tears. Fix the situation by letting customers close their account without waiting hours! Other banks let tellers close accounts in minutes. There's no reason why I should wait hours for a "banker" (who is just a teller) for such a simple transaction that requires referring to the teller anyway. It's a manufactured inconvenience entirely the fault of Wells Fargo. Also, the Indian teller lady at first stated it was possible to empty account then call to get it closed. But I kept asking why I couldn't close it. She became rude to me and then when I asked her about the option to close out the account by phone, she suddenly reverse course and said it wouldn't be possible. I then went to a different Wells Fargo nearby and they emptied my account and told me to call, which then got my account closed. so that lady at this location basically purposefully decided to give me bad customer service to try and harm me because she did not want to serve me. Really unprofessional and disgusting.

    I love this Wells Fargo branch. This is one of the only Wells Fargo branches in Nassau county that still offers in-branch services during Covid-19, like making a deposit without being forced to use drive-through, meeting a banker without needing to set an appointment, and an inside ATM so you don't need to worry about bad weather or unsafe surroundings. I also really enjoyed being assisted by the teller, Shannet. She was quick to notice me, called me toward her, and showed true etiquette from beginning to end.

    Did a formal over the phone complaint about Carle Place Wells Fargo because the manager got very rude after I suggested better communications between Wells Fargo and republic bank. It took two days for me to cash my check because Wells Fargo did not have a certain hotline phone number to verify my check. Republic bank and Wells Fargo have a partnership in which you are able to cash republic bank checks at Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo did not know any information in regards to this partnership and I was repeatedly given a hard time because they thought it was a fraudulent check. In doing my due diligence and being on the phone for two days.... I uncovered information about the partnership and gathered the correct phone numbers needed to verify my check. After doing the banks job for them, when I simply suggest to a manager to be better informed to the terms and procedures that are required in their partnerships with other banks, I was yelled that and kicked out of the bank by the manager of himself Kevin Rodriguez. The teller Catherine was very helpful and kind, I understand the manager being called over in a situation that is unfamiliar but being yelled at for making a suggestion and treated like a criminal was uncalled for, unprofessional, and rude! Wells Fargo, you need better ,well trained , management who understand problem-solving and customer service.

    I bank here for my Job and am NOT the easiest customer as I’m usually bringing at least 5 deposits at a time with a change order for my store . Whether i walk in with 5 hours or 5 mins to sore before close the staff is courteous , helpful and friendly . They all know me and all know my situation and even when it’s frustrating they’re so good to me. I appreciate them so much for making tm day run just a little bit smoother . If I could give them 10 stars I would . Thank you carle place Wells Fargo ! Your professionalism is unmatched !

    I went to open a savings acct. and the manager or branch pres. Whoever she was tried to strong arm me into opening all the accts. she wanted me to. When I told her I wasnt interested in anything more then I already had stated, she became irritated and insulting and in as rude a way as possible told me that either I open all the accts. she wants me to and apply for a mortgage or take my business elsewhere. FYI, theres 3 other banks within a 1 block, I took my $ to those banks.

    Went here with my mother and sat down while she was speaking to the people there. Chairs there are by the vault, and minutes after sitting down waiting, some employees there seemed to be watching me, maybe thinking that I was gonna steal some money or something. It was the oddest, unnecessary thing, and if me sitting down petrified them, they should have had their chairs somewhere else. Then, one of the employees who was staring at me (a woman) came over and asked if I was waiting to be helped by someone. I told her I was waiting for my mother - she probably was wondering my intentions or something. If you sit down there, watch for being watched. Boy, people are weird, and that's a strange experience I feel you shouldn't have at a bank.
