This is probably the worst bank in the world. Totally understand; always have to wait long times for a banker. They will debit your account service charges for just about anything they can. And you spend hours on the phone trying to get everything undone terrible customer service; still not working. Basically you have no control over your money they do but not you. I've been banking all my life and I have never had such a frustrating experience with a bank. Now on payday I just go to the bank and take it all out of the bank because I can't trust them with my money. Avoid at all costs!

I have been a Wells Fargo customer for 26 years. My husband and I recently purchased a property; prior to the closing, we deposited a CERTIFIED FUNDS check at a branch in Prescott. The manager at that branch assured me that the funds would be available the next day; that information was printed on the deposit receipt. The next day, before we went to this branch to get certified checks for the closing, I logged in to our account to verify the money was available; it was. When we arrived at the branch the teller printed the certified checks, a banker signed them, and then the branch manager cancelled them. I spent 5 hours on the phone trying to get this sorted out. EVERY person with whom I spoke on the phone (corporate, not this branch) assured me the money was there and available for us. I had to continually repeat that they wouldn't release it. I kept getting bumped up to a higher level, receiving the same information (it's available now). Finally I spoke with someone at Customer Care Executive Offices. Same information from her, same response from me. SHE called and spoke for some time to the branch manager who flat out refused to release our certified funds. (My stepdaughter is the vice president of a bank and said federal law requires money from certified checks that are deposited to be available by 9:00 the next morning.) The woman from the Customer Care Executive Offices called the other branch in Kingman, and that manager said she would release the funds to us that very day. Unfortunately, she was leaving at 4:00 PM and we live so far out we couldn't possibly have made it before she left. I filed a complaint with Wells Fargo. Their response was not within the time frame I was given and I had to repeatedly call them for follow-up. Final resolution was that they talked to the branch manager and it won't happen again. We not only drove 2 hours on 2 consecutive days to take care of what should have been a very simple transaction, but we had out-of-state company here and had to ask them to leave 5 hours earlier so we could take care of this. We then had to FedEx overnight express our checks to the closing company to insure they arrived in time. Every person with whom I dealt kept telling me that I'm a valuable customer. I heard that more than half-a-dozen times; I saw it NEVER. In addition to the stress, the extra driving, and kicking company out early we had to send the checks using a far more costly method. No apologies, nothing from the branch manager. Who apparently either was unfamiliar with federal law or just didn't feel like complying with it. Are the people friendly? Yes. Does that help when you are operating under a deadline and the branch manager chooses to not comply with federal law? NO. If it weren't for the fact I've had this account 26 years it would have been closed already. We are definitely planning to leave it open with minimum funds but take our business elsewhere.

This bank is NOT small business friendly, NOT woman owned business friendly, quite honestly they are not consumer friendly, save your money and go to a good community bank. My partner and I went into the Wells Fargo on Stockton Hill Rd to deposit a large check that ironically was written out of another Wells Fargo Account. We attempted to deposit this check via the drive up window, we were instructed to bring in the corporate papers indicating ownership of the company that the check was written for. We went home gathered the correct documents, including AZ corporate papers, Tax EIN document, and documentation to verify our identity. Leah our "Banker" indicated there was no interest in assisting us with this deposit, and indicated she had no desire to open a new account" to accept these funds, Leah was rude, condescending, and quite honestly a fair representation of Wells Fargo lack of interest in small businesses and consumers in general. Avoid Wells Fargo, and Leah as your "banker"

I had to dispute a fraudulent charge on my Wells card and was expecting a horrid reception with whomever would wind up "helping" me. I was sure that somehow they would turn everything around and it would be my fault or, at best, a huge inconvenience for them. Fortunately I was assisted by Leah Crouse, personal banker extraordinaire at the Stockton Hill Rd Branch. She took control, quickly and efficiently getting on the phone to the right department and filing a claim on my behalf. They immediately credited my account while they research the claim, I've already received two emails about the progress, this is VIP treatment. Thank you Leah and Wells Fargo for treating your customers like you care.
Hello, Richard. It’s wonderful to see that you had such a positive experience with Leah. We appreciate the feedback. -Shannon, Wells Fargo HL Social
