This is the absolute worst bank in the city of clinton nc...and has been since Teresa Key retired...she was the ONLY ONE WHO EXHIBITED CUSTOMER SKILLS...they have the least caring or concerned bank employees who ever existed! I am thrilled it is closing!

This bank is quite literally the worst bank in our town. It used to be fine, even a couple years ago it was okay. Now it's an absolute tragedy. I'm not sure what happened. There's an obvious staffing issue, the tellers that work there literally slave away by themselves serving a line wrapped around the building on a constant basis, because there are only enough tellers to have one in the bank at a time. Hence the reason the drive through window DOES NOT EXIST anymore. As far as bankers go, I never see any anymore. The last few people that are employed at this branch are surely exhausted. This branch would undoubtedly be inoperable without them, seeing as it is hanging on by a thread now. On another note, if the bank is going to be closed, the least you could do is have a sign posted with the upcoming closed dates, especially if one of those days will be a Friday. Today is Friday, this branch is closed, no one in the parking lot today knew why. Automated customer service noted it "temporary". What does that mean? Just today? A week? The rest of the year? This is the only WF branch in our town. What are business accounts supposed to do about payroll? I understand things happen, it's just that the trends here are all downhill. The policies are unfavorable, there's no staff in the bank, the drive through window literally doesn't exist anymore, the employees have had to work inside with a broken air conditioning system for months, and no part of this bank is handicapped accessible. 5 star employees, 0 star bank. I wouldn't blame them if they all left. Rant over.
I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience, Emily. I can confirm that this branch is temporarily closed. They shut the blinds in my face while trying to get money out. After waiting behind another car that was Finnish with his transactions. She closed blinds so I couldn't see her face. So I made a public review. And also withdraw from they bank into another one with great service for they customers. You all should do the same.

If I can leave a no-star review after today; I SURE WOULD. I would never recommend a bank that would racially profile an actual customer. I mean after all, Would you? I was considering opening an account but after today I am extremely shocked at what I was told when I had mentioned about opening an account for myself today due to how convenient their services sound. However, who suggests a hispanic & english-fluent woman to cash an entire government check at the TROPICANA? You are at a bank?! Why suggest the nearest hispanic grocery store? What kind of suggestion is that?! To top it off, never come back to the desk to attend her? Never that, i'll take my business elsewhere.
Please accept my apologies for the experience, Julia, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take incidences like this very seriously, and I want to be sure what occurred during your visit is reviewed and addressed. BACKWARDS PODUNK SERVICE I’ve never had a banking experience like the one I had here. Went through the drive thru trying to withdraw $3K to purchase a car from a private owner. I understand taking out that amount would initiate special questions and precautions, but this was ridiculous. The uninformed teller asked me all sorts of things about the transaction and my account that they should’ve known on their own. After going through tons of personal questions and providing my ID, they refused to do the withdrawal. I called WF customer service from my car and the lady (using the term loosely) came over the intercom and said “No matter what they say you will NOT be completing this transaction here.” Customer service on the line said they should be doing it for me and called them while I was still on the line. The teller then threatened over the intercom to call the police. Customer service had to increase the max transaction amount on my card so I could send the money for the car via PayPal. That transaction cost me an extra $83. Needless to say, these people suck. There wasn’t even anyone else in the line. They just chose to provide zero customer service. The helpful person on the phone essentially begged me to report them. I’ll be switching banks ASAP.

Absolutely unprofessional. Loud, rude, and talking loud enough for everyone to hear instead of allowing me to approach the Teller where she could have explained to just me instead of everyone in the bank what I would need to do going forward. There is a way to do everything and the way the Loud and Abrupt Teller done today was unexceptable. Step in my shoes. She would not want to be treated that way. The Business Teller that waited on me was and has always been kind and inviting so in no way will I ever look at her as I do the Woman that addressed me. She leaves a bad view of Wells Fargo and if she is your manager, you need to do better.

this bank stole my grand father’s check and reported it fraud just because he’s 80 years old, shame on this bank and the staff.. after 1 month of going back and forth with this bank, they lost the check and couldn’t find it. The manager was no help and didn’t help in finding the check at all. Literally lost the check and didn’t help find it… really sad.

They never answer the phone. When I go to the location even if there is no clients they say I have to come back with an appointment. I specified that I tried to make an appointment online but they cite says there is no available dates or times they told me to figure it out myself instead of them helping me.

Very unhelpful service, not friendly, extremely rude. The ATM or online banking will help you better than the employees in the Clinton Office EVER will.
