I was on Friday early morning in this for the very urgent wire transfer, those times I haven't any appointment. I asked Michelle Benita , she told me to try to help me, and within 3 minutes she forwarded me to Mario Toledo. He very quickly completed wire transfer. I respect those persons especially Branch Managers how they take care of each customer. I appreciate each personal form of this Branch. Thanks for helping me!

This place has horrible service and usually only one to two tellers managing the line. It is sad that I have banked with this bank so long and this is the service it doles out. Need to take my business else where.

    Response from the owner

Usually you have to wait quite a while outside the premise for almost an hour if you're come in the first or second days of the month for cashing the checks during the Covid-19 period. It is more convenient and less crowded during the middle of the month. You'll feel like comfortable and the bank tellers are professional and nice.

    Response from the owner

Thanks for taking the time to share this with us, Peter. We appreciate the feedback, and it's been forwarded to the appropriate teams. -Janet, Wells Fargo HL Social

I wrote a check to a friend of mine. He went inside to cash the check and was rudely talked to by David Huerta. He kept asking him what's his problem and that he is just simply standing in line waiting to cash a check. Mr. Huerta who claimed he was the branch manager kept asking him personal questions about who wrote the check, how do you know them, we are going to have to call and verify. He then said that's all fine. He then pulled him from teller after he was in line for 15 minutes to verify the check. It took another 10 minutes to verify the check, then he made him wait in line again from the very back. I am seriously thinking of closing my account there. I have been with them for years and never heard of anything like this. Mr. Huerta claimed he was the branch manager and it is there policy only at that branch.

I go to the bank monthly to withdraw rent money, but today i decided to go to the one on ocean/mission street because it is on the way home from school. I walk in there and go to the disabled/handicap teller since I am disabled veteran and have mobility issues, that's when it all starts, when i get to the teller i get harrased by the guy that greeted me at the door and said that the teller line was "over there" (the normal line) i looked at him and said why can't i use this teller i am a Disabled veteran. He looks at me and says "oh ok" and walks off. It doesn't end here though, I guess the teller or lady behind the handicap counter where i sat down at thought she was a doctor today. She begins to question me like i am lying, first off just to let everyone know i am 26 and medically retired, I do not "look" disabled but i am. So she starts discriminating against me because she thinks im lying. So she tells me that a teller will help me as soon as one is available, then an old couple comes in and sits to the booth to my left. Tell me why they came in after i did and was helped before me while i sat at an empty booth for 20 minutes? Because i don't look disabled? I just opened my account with wells fargo recently but this event today has got me livid, i fought for my country and ended up getting hurt and being medically discharged and i have to face discrimination at a bank because i am 26 and don't look disabled? I am seriously considering closing my accounts with wells fargo because of this incident. I do not take kindly to people to treat veterans like garbage, especially after all we have sacrificed for this country. The employee that was questioning me and discriminating against me was Zonia Lei. Happened 12/1/2015 around 9:40 am. Other than that the actual bank teller that came up to help me was nice and did his job professionally, i asked him for a contact from corporate or something and he came back and gave me a feedback card with information on it. It's a shame i cannot remember his name.

Wells Fargo are a bad bank all round. Keep track of your account balances as they have been known to dwindle if not scrutinized. Just a bad bank be warned....

One of the best banks in town, and the best bank in Excelsior! The bank has friendly, knowledgeable staff, and an open, and inviting floor-plan.
