Highly unprofessional hiring management would not recommend serious job seekers to avoid this place. Rearranged work schedule for three interviews for the hiring manager to get an attitude because I inquired about benefits that would be offered. Then left three plus weeks waiting for any kind of response when I finally reached out was told they’ve moved on to other candidates and had no plans to let me know after I put aside time for three interviews
Hi Jesse. We appreciate the feedback and have forwarded this information to the appropriate team. Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review.

Greedy credit union. No support for hardships. Not even a courtesy fee reversal. Money hungry

The merger they claim was gonna be easy and it’s not. I voted against the merger and today I find myself no access to my money or my bank card. I call card services they tell me that due to VCU merger I have no access to my money till Monday. I will definitely be finding another bank once I can get access to my money.

These people have no sense of customer service and treats you like dirt if you're not a member. I went in to this location back in July 2011 to see if I can re-open a checking/savings account I closed with them a few years back. The lady who was assisting me (fat middle aged black woman with glasses) took me into her office and sat me down. About 5 minutes into the process, another lady just came into the office and began conversing with her, completely disregarding the fact that we're in the middle of something or even acknowledging my presence. The lady who was helping me stopped what she was doing and the two women proceeded to have a casual conversation for over 5 minutes right in front of me, much of which didn't sound to be work-related. Not even an "Excuse me" or "Please give us a moment" from either one of them. After almost 10 minutes of this, I got fed up. I got up from my chair and calmly told them I'm going to go ahead and go now because whatever they're discussing must be far more important than the customer sitting right in front of you. Needless to say, I didn't reopen my account with them. Fast forward to May 2015, I stopped by to inquire about the date when my account was closed. I signed in at the computer screen and took my seat, then waited for over an hour & 30 minutes as I witnessed everyone people who signed in AFTER I did being called to be assisted. None of the representative who came out even acknowledged my presence and I left without being helped. Totally disgusting! I'm not a customer of the oft-demonized Wells Fargo, and even the people there treated me better than the employees at this Chester Virginia Credit Union branch here.

Me and my husband had an awesome experience here. We walked in just a little before closing time and we were happily greeted by Lindsey. Let me tell you she knows her stuff, very knowledgeable, very courteous and reassuring. Even tho we came in close to the end of business hours she never made us feel rushed. We will definitely be opening more accounts here. This branch surpasses any other in the area and I will always travel just a little further to get to the Chester branch. Also the branch manager was great they worked as a team to execute what was needed and she was very welcoming as well. I would’ve given them 10 stars if I could.

I have been a customer of theirs for quite some many years and every time I get treated as though I'm the only customer I have no problems with getting results that make my life a little bit easier as far as personal loan banking car financing Etc. A good company to be a member of...

Over all really good banking experience. The branch operations manager Tasha was great! She explained everything perfectly and helped me open my new bank account quick and easily.

Since the merger with Chesterfield Credit Union, I have constantly had problems. From cards to the customer service, something has always gone wrong with them. It’s unfortunate because I enjoyed my time with Chesterfield Credit Union but too many issues and a rude assistant manager was the final straw for me. DO NOT BANK WITH THIS BANK!

Customer service was wonderful at this branch, but they're definitely not a "people's" bank. Don't make a mistake while you're banking there because they won't work with you, despite how long you've been a member, and despite how devastating the cost of your mistake will be to your family.

Wendy was very kind & took care of things for my daughter's account that other branches hadn't. It was also a short wait on a Friday. Best experience I've ever had with a credit union.
