The apartment complex in general is okay. They give ample notice for car towing. The actual apartments are well maintained/built. The problem was really all the extra BS fees for parking (you’ll notice literally almost NO ONE pays for covered parking bc it’s ridiculously over priced) and the pet fees (average on island from what I’ve seen is 50$/month for 1 pet, there it’s 100$ a month for my 1 small dog). And the other problems are the actual people as well as the bugs. I know it’s Hawaii but come on, there was fruit flies COVERING one of the shelves in my fridge. It didn’t matter what I did, they would infest my kitchen no matter how clean I kept it. They also don’t have a lot of room for pets outside for being “pet friendly”. And they don’t enforce a leash policy it seems bc people with untrained dogs would just let them outside with no leash all the time. I’m not opposed to someone’s well trained dog walking outside to pee without a leash for a minute but a lot of them were mean non trained dogs.

They are very rude and they racially profile their tenets. The apartments are falling apart and the porch is dry rotted. When you complain to the office staff they threaten to terminate your lease claiming that you are threatening and harassing them. They only take care of the tenets that are of their culture, otherwise they will pick at everything you do! There is a huge dumpster right in front of our apartment that kids play in and jump off of and they don't say anything! The residents don't pick up their animal feces so when it gets really hot it stinks! They even lost payments from my mom claiming that they never got them! I would definitely not live here. It's ghetto and loud and the people are rude.

We are military and moved here from our last duty station. Marisa was excellent through the whole process! They are all so friendly and fast reacting to needs. The staff genuinely care about the tenants and have been so kind. We first inquired of them while we are on the mainland, and Marisa was very patient, helpful, and understanding. They made our PCS less stressful for sure! Now that we are here, I love the apartment, it’s in a wonderful location, bigger than we thought, and the neighbours are very plesant! Right across the street from a Walmart and a Starbucks, and about 20 minutes away from a nice beach. It’s wonderful!

Everything seemed great until 4 months after I moved out. Received a call from collectors claiming I owed money for carpet damages along with other things. The carpet was marked as good on the check out walk around. They supposedly sent a letter of indebtedness to the address they owned after I moved out even though I had provided a forwarding address. Now I have collectors calling me for a bill I didn't even get notified of. Do yourself a favor and dont move into this place or any place owned by the parent company. The price isn't worth the headache long after you're gone.

Would give ZERO STAR if it was an option! Marisa was good with handling our lease and renewal. She told us to apply for affordable housing in which we did, gave all the paper works in days and that was that. All this time I thought that we got approved for the housing but apparently I was told we didn’t. THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION FROM THE STAFF TO ME IS VERY DISAPPOINTING! You would think approved or not someone in one of the office would make it a priority to contact the tenant who is applying. Not only that I got the round around about all the paper works but was quoted “THEY DO NOT NOTIFY TENANTS” about the application and NO PAPER TRAIL of any SUBMISSIONS! So I got SLAPPED with late fees. I highly recommend you don’t move here!

Awful. Do not move there. I recently moved from there FINALLY. My truck was tampered with and wrongfully towed and it took 4 months to get my money back. I understand it's Hawaii but there was a HUGE roach problem. Very high rent for a small space. Management was very questionable. Always gave the run around. Look ELSEWHERE.

I dont know how many managers run that office and I want my finger pointed in the right direction so I will have to point out that the African-American female manager (Paris?) is a joke and obviously hates her job. She turns a blind eye and a deaf ear, then twisting your concerns to make you look like the bad person. Neighbors are either always arguing with one another, carrying on loudly in the middle of the night, playing loud music. Cops always around. Kids playing in the dumpster. Loose dogs running around. Some tenants are not even paying their monthly pet rent (yes, rent, not deposit). Adults AND kids swearing. Druggies. BTW, contrary to what non-Hawaii residents think....I'm local...and I pay a little over $2k for my old, nonfunctional 2-bdrm. It starts from the top...terrible management, terrible tenants, terrible apartments, terrible environment....for over $2k/month. Next stop...Corporate.

Great place the staff is amazing they do their best to accommodate you and your family. If you need anything or need anything done they get right on it. The staff is very pleasant they do all that they can to make sure you as a customer are satisfied and taken care of. I will definitely recommend this place to my military friends and family. Nice neighborhood quite and not a lot of traffic. The apartments are nice and cozy on the inside and makes for a nice place to live.

Update after being contacted by property manager, moving up to two stars for him being sympathetic and willing to talk out/hear complaints. Place has issues and needs lots of work but I believe the supposed newer property manager has good intentions. I wish them, and more specifically him good luck.

I haven't moved in yet, so far not bad. Area looks clean and leasing office was rather polite. I was confused on one thing. I was told they just rented their last one bedroom, but online it was still advertising that there were openings. Not sure about that yet. I move in next week so here goes nothing. Ha
