Our bank made home buying a miserable experience. When my wife and I were at our lowest point and discourage we found Veterans United. Two weeks! I say again two weeks and now we have a home. Veterans United knows veterans and the VA process and they went the extra mile and then more to get us our home. Thank you is not enough and I have already recommended Veterans United and will continue to recommend them.
Hey Carlos! It's great to hear that your loan team provided a great customer service experience. Thanks for your review, and congratulations on your new home! – Customer Service Representative

The homebuying process was seamless with Veterans United and Chris. Chris kept us very informed and the online platform to share documents was great. Thank you for such smooth sailing through this!

My loan officer was great, but the company completely discriminates against you if you weren't able to work due to your service connected injuries. Once you get surgery and are feeling better they will still hold it against you that you weren't able to work prior. Just rich investors chasing the dollar like they do during the war machine.
Hi Kurt, Though I am glad your experience with you loan officer was a good one, I am saddened to know you felt discriminated against due to injury. As far as employment goes, most applicants are examined on a case-by-case basis, and employment is only one piece of the total borrower evaluation. Lenders will look at how long you've been employed, the types of jobs you held and how many periods of unemployment are in your history. That being said, the "gold standard" of employment for lenders is 2 years of stable, reliable, full-time employment. I'm sorry to hear about your frustration. Our teams are passionate about helping veterans and service members use their hard-earned benefit, and we are sorry that we were unable to provide financing. If you have more feedback you would like to share, I invite you to get in contact with our Client Advocate team at 1-800-212-5200 or [email protected]. The team is available for constructive conversation regarding your experience in our effort to continuously learn and improve. -Claire S., Client Advocate

We were having issues with another mortgage company and weren't sure if our loan would go through. Cindy at Veterans United spent her time and effort providing valuable information to us knowing that we were not committed to switching our loan over. Highly recommend Veterans United!

Cindy was both supportive and professional throughout our home loan process. She maintained contact and encouraged us when our first home choice didn’t work out. We are now in our home and could not be happier.

This is my first time buying a home, I had so many questions. I struggled when I retired from the Air Force and Had to File Chapter 13. I thought I would never be able to get a home. After 2 years of paying my bankruptcy and keeping up on my every day bills, they were able to get my family and I in a home. Felecia was my rep, and she kept me calm and helped get thru this process smoothly. Scott was also great working with me to get my credit score up. I was in the program only 4 months and was able to buy a home. I am forever in debt to them for their professionalism, courteousness, and simple understanding of everyone's situation. I never once felt belittled or undeserving. They went out of their way to make sure my family and I have a home!! Thank you!!!

Seller Beware! This outfit will take you the seller to the cleaners. We paid for the buyers home insurance for a year, plus 4 months, 1 year home warranty protection, property tax for 1 year for the buyer to go into escrow, plus interest at 27% for the buyers from the time they started the loan until the 1st of the next month, over $2,000 for the loan origination fee. The closing agent was supposed to give us a break down before we went to closing, they did not! It took over 2 months to get to closing and we were exausted and at that point just ready to get it behind us! If you are selling you home to anyone who wants to use the VA home loan program to finance their home please beware! You will be taken to the cleaners! NEVER AGAIN WILL WE ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN TO US!!!! Notice! The 5 star reviews are from the buyers, not the sellers!
