    I’ve been with VCCU for about three years now going to four years. I personally DO NOT like the customer service located in Ventura. This one time I went to do a few transactions and the lady that was helping me looked very annoyed because of the transactions I was doing, I let it passes I assumed she was having a bad day. So when she’s helping me out she’s giving me attitude and I was annoyed of how she was treating me and I asked her nicely why was she giving me attitude and being rude. She then said “that’s just my personality” and I told her if that’s really you this bank shouldn’t have workers like that. I asked for her manager and she said she had just left. Keep in mind I hadn’t finished my transaction so I told her I just wanted to do my last one because I didn’t like her service. She gave me a disgusting look and threw the money at me. I was so angry at this point and told a young lady that I had to speak to their manager… she took me to her and all the manager do was apologize. If I really wanted to I could of done something big about this there is cameras all over the place I had proof of how I was being retreated I called corporate but they didn’t do anything about it. Lesson of the day DON’T BE WITH A BANK THAT HAVE WORKERS THAT TREAT YOU BADLY.

    Avoid this bank at all costs!!!! I moved to this bank from bank of America and I am really regretting it, which is saying something. The atms are always broken and out of order, lines to do any banking are long and will take forever, a phone call is worse. They did a home refi for us which has been the worst mistake, they messed up our impound account after taking months to close our refi and we are still trying to fix the impound account after to talking to multiple people there who either have no idea what they are doing or have no authority to help and say they will call back. Don't waste your time. Update Nov 2021: One more reason to avoid - My debit card is set to expire this month, having not received a new one by the middle of Nov (not a surprise) I waited in line for 45 min to have them tell me a new one would automatically be sent (in which case I had about 0% confidence that would happen). Today Nov 29 no card, I call wait on hold for 45 min, they say it was lost in the mail and that I should go wait in line again to get a new one LOL PLEASE!!!! Today I will also close my VCCU account and go back to Bank of America. What a joke.

    VCCU treats their customers like criminals while overcharging for banking services. This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. They are a disgrace to the name county credit union. Do not waste any money or time dealing with these greedy thieves. "Don't call us, we'll call you." You're better off with a big bank, then you know what to expect. Wasted so much money here!

    I have been a member of VCCU for years. Since the start of 2021 VCCU messed up on my pay off when I sold the my vehicle. They tacked on a $600 hidden after the company I sold my truck to sent in the check for full amount of pay off that called in and verified twice. I provided multiple documents to get the issue resolved and ultimately had to escalate my issue to the branch manager and work with her for a week to get the issue resolved. Today I call in to make a payment on CC from my other bank acct and was told "we are not there yet.....the payment will take up to a week to process." I am trying to pay them off to cut all ties with them. VCCU needs to get with the times and update their ancient operating systems so that they are not negatively impacting the members.

    Awful. They will try to charge upu for making you stiff even if you don't use there accounts. They also aim to have a 24 hour number and they do not. It just hangs up on you. U professional, incompetent, ridiculous, juvenile, pathetic.

    I while back ,I received a promotional EMAIL from this so called bank of the people. that if I needed a person loan to help meet my end meet I reach out to this people it was the worst mistake that I ever made, reaching out to and organization that advertises false hopes to people that lost there job of no fault of there own I was call a lowlife, a nobody by one of their customers service people .what I don't understand is why to they advertise false promises.why,even do the fed said good things coming for the personal loan customer's why do we have to be belittle by customers service like this and then you ask yourself ventura county people is this really a people bank. thank you God bless

    37 year customer without any prior issues and I'm dumping this group. They put a ten day hold on a 30k check drawn on a national bank so it's easily confirmed. Pathetic treatment of long-term customers! Federal Reserve sets MAXIMUM time limits on holds but not minimum time limits. Get your facts straight.
