First, time I was there to find out what I was missing and ask a couple questions, the lady was very helpful and informative. Today, I visited with someone to turn in what I was missing and ask a couple questions and she was had no idea what she was talking about and couldn't answer any of my questions. What the heck is she doing in that position if she doesnt know how to do her job. I wasn't able to get anything answered.

I’ve called 6 times over the last two week to try to submit a change of circumstance paperwork to get more financial aid money because my father passed away recently. They said they couldnt receive six pages electronically so I would have to send it in the mail. I sent it in the mail and no one has received it. Post office says it was delivered. When I talked on the phone a lady said there only two people that handle paperwork! For a major university like USF their financial aid department has to step up.

Jeremy was extremely helpful, the best representative I’ve worked with at USF financial aid. Please hire more like him!

Joseph Riveria send students to collections and has no idea why. He will tell you it's from a charge but USF makes their own charges up as they go. They love sending students to collections, it makes them feel better about themselves. Joke of a school, professors are terrible, advisors terrible. This whole place is a POS.

Always on hold for atleast an hour if you call the office, meanwhile on campus they're not busy at all in the office and the fact is just nobody is answering the phone. In my multiple times where I've waited and been helped I have received conflicting answers to questions I've had from different advisors and any financial aid or credit related issues take a long time to be resolved with the office.

Bureaucracy!!! Nothing ever gets done unless you go there physically multiple times!! Been trying to resolve an issue that wasn’t even my fault and there’s no support from this university. Calls just drop after waiting 30 minutes! When I asked for a supervisor’s name it wasn’t given to me! The fact that I even have to go through this is ridiculous. Step up your game, USF. People are paying outrageous money to be there and this is how we get treated. I don’t even know who I should write a complaint to!

I am a student at USF and calling financial aid is a HORRIBLE experience. Every time I call them right when they open, it's always saying that there is a heavy traffic with calls. But in reality in the financial aid office, it's always empty and no one takes calls at all... I expected more from this office, but it seems like a joke at this point. If you want quick answers, it is best to go to them in person, than waiting over the phone for an hour. So good luck.

The service is always fantastic whenever I get a chance to talk to them, but that is also where the issue lies..... time. I have been on hold for over an hour now wanting to ask a single question. I get that most are likely to be calling in due to the semester just around the corner as well as the impacts of the CARE act, but please implement an email service. I would argue that most questions asked over the phone have been asked before and if you guys took the time to type out some responses to common scenarios, everyone's lives would be much easier.

I tried multiple times to contact financial aid on the phone, but each time I call, I wait at least 30 minutes hoping someone would answer the phone before I eventually give up. If they implemented a email response system, it would be a lot easier than waiting on the phone.

As a student, I can tell you this is by far the worst office, of any kind, I've ever seen. You're always on hold on the phone and the people inside are simply clueless. Instead of helping you, they just wiggle themselves out of the question by saying a bunch of unrelated garbage. Calling any sort of USF establishment has made me hate this school so much.
