    I have had USAA ever since I was young thanks to my father who served in the Air Force. I recently got married and am happy to share in this wonderful service with her. We went into the San Diego office and sat down with an employee who helped us figure out auto and home insurance, joint banking and various other banking accounts, as well as gave us plenty of advice and tips on the next steps in our marriage moving forward with USAA. The transition was easy and hassle free. We had plenty of time to go to costco next door afterward. I have always enjoyed the insurance and banking I have been using with them, and I will continue to recommend it to any friends who have not taken advantage of their parents military benefits! Great company, great customer service and you can't beat their rates.

    While we didn't get to sit down face to face in person with someone, it was still great to have the service all set up for us to video chat with all the people we needed. We had a private room and help if we needed. Super handy to have! We love USAA and I wish every company could have the same customer service they do! Been with them for 9 years now. Thank you USAA! You're the only easy thing we have to deal with being in the Navy!

    FROM BEST TO WORST USAA incorrectly issue a check on my behalf costing me $21,000. Even though they admit complete fault on their end, they refuse to do anything accept provide me with a form I can fill out in 90 days after their mistake. In the meantime, I will lose my CAR and my house as they have stolen the funds from my account and failed to provide a check or any proof that a check was created or sent in the first place. At first i thought that this was a honest mistake and the company would stand behind their own mistake and fix it, or at least try too in some sort of capacity. Instead i have been told by the manager of the highest level of customer care i can get to, is that my best option is to HOPE & PREY the check turns up as they failed (after two separate requests to post express with tracking!) to put any sort of tracking on a $21K bank check. On all fronts, it appears as one of their employees has stolen the check for themselves and the bank is trying to cover it up. Either way, I'm down $21k which is breaking me financially and mentally. After 10 hours on the phone over 4 days its looking very dull. I need to get use to the fact that my car will be repossessed, my credit rating is being destroyed and I may even lose my house because of USAA's mistake and they just don't care whatsoever. After swearing by this bank, I find myself swearing at this bank. It all seems hopeless and I am just another one of their customers that they could not care less about. Do yourself a favour and remove whatever trust you think you have in them. At least with a real bank, the manager would have to look me in the eye and come up with a solution. SHAME ON YOU USAA!

    Let me start by saying I have 14 yrs with this company and they have been amazing with insurance and banking issues. The problem which is getting worse and worse is the customer service hours. The hours use to be 24hrs a day and they have been getting shorter and shorter. They know we are military and we work the same hours as they. If I get a moment to myself I don't want have to spend those rare few minutes in the day to talk on the phone. As a Chief I would prefer that they were before or after my normal working hours. USAA how much more do I need to move to Navy Federal before you guys get the hint??

    I've been a customer since shortly after officer training in 1998. I've used many banks & credit unions, but USAA is by far the best. I've never stepped into a branch office and have never need to.

    USAA litterally has the worst customer service phone system I have ever seen. There is no physical way to talk to a human being at this bank, and if you try to call the phone number listed on the USAA website AND GOOGLE, it does not put you intouch with anyone at that location. It will however put you intouch with a series of people who will not have any idea what they are doing and have very poor listening skills. Once you figure out you are NOT talking to someone who knows what they are doing then they will transfer you to someone equally worthless and you can enjoy authenticating your identity each time you are transfered. I have never received satisfactory services from their phone system in under an hour.

    All I can say is that USAA is the best bank I've ever had. Not only are they cheerful, understanding, and willing to help, they're also actually helpful, and they're empathetic. Absolutely love USAA!

    Excellent service. They don't have tellers, but do ATM and electronic deposit. Have to FedEx on own at Postal Annex if check is too big to scan by account limits (like sale of house). Call here to check the transaction at this branch so you dont waste time. Not a typical bank service. Will open accounts. Easy parking.

    I have dealt with large variety of credit unions and banks within my life time, and I can say without hesitation that USAA is by far the best banking institution that I have had in all these past years. Thank you USAA and all of your staff.

    I am in absolute shock at how awful this organization treats their memebers, I have had their insurance for years with no issue, then recieved a promotion to switch to their banking. I accepted, left wells Fargo and have been a member of their banking since june. The issue started 90 days in when I didn't receive the offer. I called and talked to one person that sent me to the next, who came up with excuses but was going to work on it with marketing and I needed to call her back. She then ignored my messages for three weeks. Within that three weeks, they had bounced a check even though the funds were all there (but I'll get to that). Today I had called again and skipped Debbie(the person I'd been dealing with) and asked to talk to another executive claims blah blah....anyways, this woman was so incredibly rude and spent most of the time putting me on hold to try and reconnect me with Debbie. That didn't work, so she started to "help me" she told me I needed to send her the email with the offer, I said "ok, what's your email address, I have it pulled up now". She said "oh, I have to disconnect you, sorry...." and hung up!!!! She hung up on me!!!! This is insane, I've called back three times (no answer) and that's just for the promotion. Because the check I wrote for rent bounced (banks error and I have record to prove it) my landlord is charging me 150 for late fee and 37 for bounced check....any guesses on whether they offer to make th at right or just kick me off the phone again. Do not bank with usaa...it's literally disgusting how they treat their members...insurance is great, but wow...just disgusting. I wish I could give zero stars...and this isn't over...I'll be heading into their one financial center, hopefully they will fix this and I can give that branch a great review. Otherwise..back to Wells fargo
