I do not recommend this Title company. Our closing went badly due to the inability of this title company to meet their responsibilities on multiple levels. We were surprised with information of an old lien just minutes before closing time, with no information on how to release it. They managed to clear it up, but not before a lot of tears were shed due to their recommendation to close at a later date due to this “new” information! Unacceptable when they had over a month to complete the title search. They also completed at least three funds transfers over one week late, after closing. Wire transfer instructions were ignored to transfer the sellers funds and FedEx was used after a week of delay.

We have closed on multiple properties over the years but this place was phenomenal! Ready to go. Could take into account some last minute changes and got us closed in under 30 minutes!!!

Closing went smoothly enough. Very smart, courteous and professional lady. Other than that, a really bad experience. I understand there is a three day wait after the CD is issued but we were delayed an additional day (no reason given) which put closing on a Tuesday which required an additional 3 day wait to get funded, therefore requiring another weekend wait. On day before closing they sent a CD copy (for their records) we had to jump thru hoops to get back to them (sign, scan in, email) within 24 hours but received their email with no window to meet the time demand. THEN, the document was INCORRECT from original CD....mistake caught by my wife. Called them back, they corrected part of mistakes but not all of them.....more phone calls. NOT something we should be going thru during an already stressful time. I will NOT be using their services in the future.

Another great closing with University Title! They are the nicest, friendliest, most professional people I have ever worked with. Hope to purchase MANY more properties and will use University Title every time. THANK YOU for your help!

Closed on our original home purchase and refinance both at University Title. Flawless!
