I've been banking with them for a long time, so has my family, but they aren't very helpful they don't seem to actually trust their members either, my best friend (with the same credit history as me) got approved for her first personal loan for 20k from a different bank and she isn't even a memeber, now I tried getting a simple 4k loan to help me move and they tried offering me 1k paid over 4 years with no help at all after. I think that's a bit ridiculous but that's ok my money can go to a different bank instead, I do not recommend banking here. You have to have separate websites, apps, to pay your credit card but everything else can be done on your app, the app itself isn't very bright and is very confusing, it also doesn't have a lot of features other banks do have, credit union or not this bank is not good and doesn't deserve my money, I will be closing my accounts soon and stepping away from them, after I believe 4 years of working with them and using them and even asking for help from them I've given up and I'm moving to a different bank.

Overall had a great experience getting my Home Equity Line of Credit through UHCU. From start to finish the process was seamless and I felt confident with each step. Everyone I spoke with was professional and I have absolutely zero regrets choosing UHCU. They get a gold star from me.

Whoever was at front desk on 9/20 around 3pm needs a raise ! I was helped immediately and she was so kind for what I needed. She was the first sales employee that isnt grumpy and miserable . I felt comfortable coming for my problems while she was able to handle it quick and efficiently! I hope the manager finds out who she is to give her a raise or be employee of the month😂

I can’t say enough good things about this CU. Their staff is knowledgeable and kind, their service is fast and convenient, and I am always treated with respect when I go there. The tellers in the drive thru are all sweet and good at their jobs, and the lobby staff is just as kind and helpful. Really can’t recommend them enough!
Thank you for the kind words!

Mixed feelings and they gave me a counterfeit hundred dollar bill. I laughed when I read their slogan of "Making banking personal" to walk into the place and be told I could not interact with a person but had to walk up to a machine built into the wall to get service. Every interaction was ok until one day I got an old 100$ bill. I specifically remember being fascinated because its production date was before I was born and I held onto it for quite a while for that fact. Then one day I went to spend it and the bill was rejected because it was counterfeit. When I go back to the bank they said they will refund it if I give them the bill but the bill was confiscated for being counterfeit so I had nothing to give them. In the end I lost 100$ for doing business with this bank. Thats is not much to me but its still 100$ more than I expect to loose dealing with a bank. Decent place but if they can afford a giant wall in place of people to deal with transactions they should be able to afford to verify the currency they give out is legit. And on both counts their slogan is ironic.

United Heritage has absolutely crushed the other financing offers on all three of my new cars. I'm talking by several points. I have cancelled my bank account at my normal Bank and have completely converted over to United Heritage. They have earned my respect and they have earned my loyalty. They have earned it and it is not often that you find a company that is earning your patronage.

I really like UHCU as a whole. This particular branch is clean, bright, friendly, and just a little off-putting. Let me explain. This branch follows the UHCU trend of placing branches near arterial traffic areas, in order to increase convenience for members. So far so good. But UHCU builds new, and remodels old branches to have no tellers when placed near arterial traffic. So when you go inside they have a greeter, a banker or two, safe deposit boxes, and.... walk-up drive through positions. Just like outside at the drive through, you will interact with the teller via pneumatic tubes and crappy video camera-screen combos. It’s just rather... ugly. The people are still friendly but it is slow and impersonal none the less. It’s all done in the name of security for the tellers. Probably saves money in terms of the number of bodies employed, which wouldn’t hurt if true. But it’s just an extremely poor customer experience. Chase at La Frontera does a much better job by placing tellers in a room serving the drive through on one side and the walk up customers on the other side of the room through a counter to ceiling wall of 2” thick plexiglass.

All they want is to open accounts and feed the new account holders bs. They are not professional at all. And IVE NEVER HEARD of a bank that holds your check for 4 days lol. So how are people suppose to survive if you hold there check lol wyd.i have already reported them, and there poor behavior and false advertising. I will be closing my accounts with them. Along with the fact that they offer services and have you sign up for them and then you dont qualify for them after the other employee says they do. Such a shame, that companys lie and have poor service. DONT OPEN AN ACCOUNT HERE!

I have been here 2 times and each times was worse than the other. They arent trained properly and don't communicate effectively at all. The teller told me that he fixed the problem and will print out what I needed then a manager came on and was like "Can I help you"...... Seriously! Poor customer service. I'll stick to the location on Whitestone Blvd. This location needs training and better management. Not recommend.
