Friendly, responsive, reliable, recommended. Closing cost are lower than every other local bank I’ve seen. It’s because they don’t sell your loan and don’t need you to pay title insurance again.

We have used Union Savings for our mortgage initiations and refinancing for over 10 years now. Service level and closing costs are my most important factors and Union Savings excels in both areas.

Nicole Reed and Rochelle Noll have proven to be the most entitled unprofessional loan officers I have ever seen. They are a disgrace to your brand and should be put immediately under investigation. They have zero communication skills and lie to customers on a regular basis. It’s an embarrassment to allow them to continue to work for union savings bank and mislead client after client. They need to grow up and do their jobs, but that is not likely to happen so please do yourself a favor and get rid of them as soon as possible.

Had many issues with this bank when trying to close on a home. They were not able to close on an FHA loan in 30 day, quoting us 45 days (our current lender did in in 20 days). We were charged for an appraisal on a house we backed out of. When asked about it we were told it was an application fee, but in reality it was an appraisal fee. When we switched lenders, we asked for documentaion of the charge because our new lender stated they could give us a credit. I was told there was no documentation and to use my bank statement as proof (Really? a bank has no documentation on a charge they performed?). Most of the people there are nice, but when we switched lenders, because we needed to close sooner not because we were disatisfied with them, we were treated with hostility and unprofessionalism.

My husband and I worked with many banks when we were financing our home and Union Savings was by the far the most pleasant and most effecient. They know their business and they don't mess around. They get you answers and they get them fast! Highly recommend!

I contacted Union Savings Bank located Dublin Gradvill Rd to refinance my primary home. I spoke to Kevin Bailey who is suppose to be the senior mortgage banker. He told me they only charge $250 for fee which is the lowest in town. He has not problem provide you with GF documents either. I decided to move forward with Kevin. Then the nightmare starts. He change the fees three times in one week. It jumped from $250 to $3500. Kevin will never own up to his mistake. All he will tell you is nothing is his fault. It's required fees by his bank or someone else. At the week of closing, Kevin told me they can't honor his original quote which was 15 year fixed at 2.99%. Instead, he is going to see if his bank will approve 5/1 arm which is completely different from what he promised. My financial didn't change at all throughout the refinancing process, so I didn't understand the change of what was quoted initially. When I question Kevin why I was pre-approved for one thing and getting something else at closing, he told me his bank didn't do the pre-approve process required by Fannie Mae cause it costs money. Instead, he just review it with his manager and they "think" it's going to be fine. Also, he will tell you there is a $250 appraisal fee refunded at closing. DO NOT believe that. It is application fee which is none refundable. I decided not to move forward with them and bring the case to their corporate. Apparently, they don't care either. Do yourself a favor.....don't waste your time and money. They will say anything you want to hear or even put in writing. Their corporate will NOT do the right thing and hold them accountable.
