    I've been a member of UFCU my entire adult life. I recently moved to San Antonio and San Marcos is the closest branch. I was remodeling my house and had to come in very often. Every single person that helped me was amazing. They were all so friendly, professional, and helpful. They answered my questions and were always just so friendly, like we've known each other for years. I really wish there was a closer branch for the rare occasion I have to go in. However, that's not enough of a reason for me to switch banks. Thanks for all you do!

    no wonder you have 3 stars .I understand it's policy, recently moved to San Antonio an found no ufcu and wasn't gonna change my bank ,but my debit card was splitting very bad ,they are flimsy and cheap,so I drive from San Antonio to San marcos in TEAFFIC !!! my ID is expired ,I had my renewal paper work an it also has lapsed waiting to get new drivers license in the mail ,to be told they can't help me ,I had everything acct number ,ss#,info was still all the same ,if you can't be their for me when I need you then you don't deserve my business I have half a years wages an been banking with you for 10 years,!!!Monday looking for a new bank !!!

    If I could give 10 stars for this location, I would. My husband and I were trying to purchase a vehicle in New Braunfels on New Year's Eve night. This branch was the closest location to the New Braunfels dealership. I had the pleasure of working with Bobbi wheat (she is an awesome lady). She called and e-mailed my loan officer to help us get the necessary documents that we needed to purchase the vehicle. We ended up staying there well passed closing time. We were so grateful that her and the branch manager Mari, stayed to help us on New Year's Eve night. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and did not make us feel rushed. This would be my desired branch (if I lived in San Marcos). I recommend banking with UFCU. This is a wonderful institution!!

    I’ve had several credit unions in the past I went with this one cause someone said they were a good credit union and they were offering a great low rate, everything was made to be great, sounded great so far it’s great, unfortunately there representative “didn’t” mark down a note for them to take me off auto payments which they did for one car but not the other. I made a payment in person on the day of my payment and then 3 days later they with drew another payment from my account putting me in the negative I called to try and get it situated cause they were at fault. They said they couldn’t refund the money back to the account they took it from that they could only refund it to my savings of the there bank. Long story short they don’t try to help they’re customers out when they mess up they try to blame it on the customers.

    Absolutely horrible customer service. Have bought many vehicles in the past and have always left the dealership with a new car in a matter of hours, it took this place 4 days! Why would covid reduce the number of employees that answer the phone? When I finally got someone to answer, I was told I could make my new loan payment at the drive-thru. Well, there isn't one. I'll be making my next payment to Capitol One.

    Very friendly and professional staff from upper managment to the sicurity guard and loan officers to the subcontractors to do business with. Overall joy to bank here and they have the best perks like NO ATM fees and Networking with other credit unions throughout the nation...EVEN abroad theres credit unions in their network allowing you 24/hr access to your money!

    This bank was great but not anymore. I'm writing this review as I sit on hold with their customer service. So far 30mins and I haven't gotten to speak to a real person. Could have taken care of this issue online on my own but of course for the 3rd or 4th time in the past 5 months I'm locked out by no fault of my own. I know I have the correct log in info becase it's saved in my phone but I still get locked out. What is with the app and the online banking having constant issue? I've already transferred most of my business to another bank. Once I pay off my car I'll be closing all my accounts with them. I'm so disappointed. They were so great in the beginning but once you're an established customer the treat you like dirt. Still on hold by the way. Now more than 35mins...

    No tellers available at this location I have to drive to Brodie to be able to make large withdrawals. They say “make multiple atm withdrawals” but you can’t because of the daily limit.

    Jorge helped me out amazingly with an auto loan. He explained to me how I could work to build my credit up and was honest about where I stood and all my options. The facility and staff were welcoming and treated me as I was important and not just another dollar. I would suggest UFCU to people I know. Thank you for all your help.
