So I came in this U.S. Bank Branch today to upgrade my secured credit card. The line was long and I had to wait a bit to talk to a bank teller. I told the bank teller that I wanted to upgrade my secured credit card and she told me I had to apply for a new credit card and cancel my secured credit card. Which would result in me losing my credit history on my secured credit card. I asked her if she can verify this information with a supervisor, she asked someone who I assume is a supervisor and she also agreed I had to cancel my card. How do these bank tellers and supervisors not know basic information like upgrading a credit card? If I didn't know this information I could have lowered my credit score dramatically. Anyways right after I called the U.S. bank credit card customer service and the nice receptionist helped me. These U.S. bank branch supervisors need to be retrained in products and services U.S. bank offers and basic knowledge of how credit score works and is calculated. Because this is ridiculous, I could have screwed up my credit score for a while.
Good morning, Ryan. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your feedback, as it's comments like yours that help us know where we need to improve. Thanks again! ^Heather

Very nice employees but such a hassle to bank there! Saturday afternoon the branch is closed and the atm is broken yet again. Had to go to Chase across the street to use their atms. Which of course I’m charged fees and penalized a fee by my own bank for being a customer.
Hi Moallii, we're sorry to see the ATM you tried to use was out of order and you had to use another non-U.S. Bank location. To avoid future fees, please visit moneypass.com to view all of our partnered ATM's. Kindly, ^Kortnee

I was just in this Branch location. The broken ATM outside forced me into the building to do a withdrawal. There was only one teller still open. I was worried to have to be inside due to this pandemic situation. Not only did the teller not have gloves on and made me sign a withdrawal slip with a community one , he also insisted that I remove my mask so he could identify me from my DL. I'm nearly 70, standing in a public spot where god knows who has been standing and talking spewing their air droplets that have been clustering for hours and he insists I remove my face mask?! So that I can now breath that into my lungs? Are your tellers really that stupid? YOU NEED TO FIGURE OUT NEW PROTOCOLS for God's sake...I'm so upset I can't see straight..and now I'm compromising all the rest of my family

Overall, I'm happy with this bank and branch. But I AM tired of needing to "teach" the TELLERS how to do THEIR jobs!! When I SAY "deposit X into Y account associated with Z card..." I expect THEM to either 1)LOOK UP SAID CORRECT account &/or 2)CLARIFY with me WHICH account IF they're unsure!!! And in the past, I've had to teach TELLERS how to COUNT COIN ROLLS!! REALLY?!?! They don't teach THAT in TRAINING?!?! Get it together, folks!! Y'all are making WAY MORE $$$ than I AM! Don't make ME do YOUR job FOR YOU!🤬🤬🤬
