Card not working, tons of people are having this issue and the staff at this bank are completely useless and clueless. Anyone you call is, as well. Would not recommend this bank, it's the worst choice out there. Use First International Bank & Trust, they are far superior.

    Response from the owner

Hello, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear you're having trouble with your card. We never want our customer to be disappointed in us. If you're still having trouble, we ask that you call our 24 Hour Customer Service at 800-872-2657. All the best. ^Heather

i only bank with them because of how inconvenient it would be to switch everything over (auto pay ect) to another account. Has the absolute worse hours of operation. When I get lucky enough to make it in person, theres always only one or two tellers despite having 6 windows to help people.

If I could give this bank negative reveiws I would. I walked into the bank ready to be served while another gentleman was filling out whatever paperwork he needed to at the customer desk. I walked up to the teller who said she would be with me in a moment. (I had to ask because all the desk had a sign that said next teller) while waiting the gentleman had finished his paperwork and moved up to the desk. The teller finally said "next" as I stood in front of her waiting. She ask who was first? I was prepared and waiting in front of her first but she took this man because he was in the building first. So in other words even when you come into the building prepared you have to wait for all the others who were there first to be finished with filling out slips, paperwork, etc to be served. I confirmed this with the teller too! After I inconveniently had to go into the bank to see when a check would clear as it's been 7 days, 5 business days since I've deposited it. This isn't the first time they've held my money as well. I should of looked at these reviews before opening this account. I can deal with the policy but I WILL NOT deal with ignorance and blatant rude behavior.

Worst bank I’ve ever been to. Went three times to try to set up a business account. The last time they told me their computer system was running slow and they weren’t taking any more customers- even though the person told me last time that as long as I was there by 3:45 they would definitely be able to help me. People Here have to drive a long way to get to the bank- we live over an hour away. They close at four so we had to take off work early. Even after explaining all of that, they told me there was nothing they could do. Don’t waste your time. They apparently don’t want or need your business.

Deposited money in atm. Reciept said $4000 less than deposit. Next day online banking says in account. Payed Bill's. Then the next day in the negative. Called bank and told it would be in account the next day and the overdraft charge would be wiped off. 1 week later they send a letter saying it went to the fraud department. For review. Still charging over draft fees. $300 and counting. The check is from my 401K and is good.

I've given this bank a one star rating for the simple fact that they have not been able to resolve an issue with one of their customers that happens to be a close friend of mine. My friend travelled out of the state to Florida and his account has been frozen due to potential fraud. I understand big corporations having to protect their assets but when its inconveniencing their customers and they're doing nothing to resolve the issue.... That's when it becomes unacceptable! This man has his 3 kids depending on him with no access to his funds while in another state. Everyone ia currently giving him the runaround and no one is taking the time to actual listen and resolve it. In my personal extensive and lengthy background in banking, I've never seen or heard of such disgraceful customer service. You guys should really be ashamed of yourselves because you'll have dropped the ball with this one.

    Response from the owner

I'm stewing over a bad experience at US Bank - Dickinson. Ashley, the branch manager, turned us away from opening a secondary checking account simply because one employee was heading to lunch and the other employee would be left alone to manage a lobby full of zero customers. To say I was beside myself is an understatement. Its unheard of to turn away an established customer in an age where competitors are literally paying hundreds of dollars to win over new customers. Her asinine and offensive solution, when expressing my concerns, was to return in an hour after they have had their lunch or head to Williston - about 90+ miles away. This coming from the 5th largest bank claiming "5 star service, guaranteed". What does that guarantee even mean anyway? I contacted Tim Hennessy, Regional President for US Bank Community Banking North Dakota - who then promptly returned my call and apologized abundantly - explaining he was having staffing issues and asked that I return to open the account. As a favor to Tim, I marched back to the banking center with my tail between my legs. I was empathetic to his situation, I surrendered to acceptance and opened that secondary account. Less than a month later I'm continuing to have negative experiences at community banking centers under the leadership of Tim Hennessy. I MISS BANK OF AMERICA. 😕 I feel that US Bank has failed, and continues to fail to deliver on the fundamentals of providing 5 Star Service which was guaranteed to me upon opening my accounts. Where I'm expected to be empathetic and work around the needs of the banking Center, Erica Hartley, Assistant Branch Manager - Williston, failed to emotionally connect with me when I made an error in managing my account. Erica failed to take empathethic action and was not practicing active listening. Instead, Erica made me feel criminal for requesting a fee reversal because of my error. Erica stated policy allows a reversal if its "teller error". Again, she wasnt listening. Erica made me feel like my experiences doesn't matter so much that they want to maintain a relationship with me.

    Response from the owner

Worst bank in the town. Negative stars. Their ATM Deposits are a joke and they'll take your money that way. Pulling all funds and never using them again.

US bank is the McDonald's of banks: it's everywhere but expect a lower quality. While the tellers are always super kind, the first loan officer I spoke to was rude and off-putting. I immediately requested a different loan officer, but with all of the abnormal strict policies and the extremely high interest rate I chose to walk away and find a bank that is about its customers.

Hands down the worst banking experience I’ve ever had. From a personal and business owners perspective. App and online banking is always down, they hold deposits for weeks so they can “clear”. Save yourself the headache and bank anywhere else.
