    I've been banking here for 4 years. I don't know what their "temporary covid credit relief" is for exactly but it doesn't help as I was overdrafted regardless. And if you get an overdraft you better hope pay day isn't a week away or you'll be paying a second (extended) overdraft fee. They offer no literal overdraft protection, as the only so called protection is linking another account to your main account which would be charged instead, also this service is $12.50 per charge. If you're like me you barely have anything in your account to even consider having a second. I once opened up a savings account, but I was charged an $8 monthly maintenance fee and if all you can add is a few dollars at a time like me then the fees just eat away your savings along with your hopes and dreams. Good luck getting a credit card if you've applied online. One time my debit card got hacked and I had to call and dispute a transaction from California when I live in Tennessee. First off, the woman on the phone didn't offer any solutions what so ever, I had to request that my card be disabled which should have been a no brainer to a knowledgeable bank teller. Secondly, nothing could be done about the transaction in question as long as it was still pending. They had to wait for the payment to finish processing before I could open up a dispute. Most banks won't even authorize out of state transactions unless you call and say you'll be in that state. Not US Bank, they let every transaction fly even if you have no money so they can rake in those fees.

    Hire more tellers, I can't afford to waste 30 minutes in line to deposit a check on a Monday afternoon

    The tellers at U.S. Bank are very rude and disrespectful. I have an account here and every time I want to change my check to cash they want to charge. I tell them I have an account and I even gave them my card but still wanted to charge. When I told them they became very disrespectful.

    If you are a senior citizen or anyone be warned about the US bank. My IRA matured and was offered a very low rate to renew my account there. I decided to move my money to a different bank in the same city. I asked US Bank to mail them a check but when it got to the new bank it was $30.00 short. It took me a couple phone calls and then a call back to ask about $30.00 to mail my check. The bank manager told me that on page 5 of the details of I don't know how many pages of my agreement, the disbursement fees were listed. I told him I never got the agreement he was talking about and asked if I signed it. He said it didn't matter and he appreciated my concern but I wasn't getting my money back.This is Cookville Tn.

    Deposited my money to mail a child support check and to buy something offline Friday. They overdrafted me, which I had never done before , with all my cash in the bank . And I can’t even talk to anyone there to fix their mistake until Monday. I Hate this bank.

    I accidentally left my card in the ATM at the cookeville branch on Jackson over a week ago. someone brought it into the u.s bank, which I was very appreciated for. I got a call from the U.S. bank that they would hold it for me. I live far from this location so it took me a couple of days to get there. Once I got there i realized they were closed due to the snow. I then returned early Saturday and they were closed again. cookeville branch hours are apparently different than most. I originally signed up with U.S. Bank in Nashville 10 years ago because they were opened 7 days a week. The following Monday I made another extra trip, I had to wait 15 minutes due to the teller making small talk with another customer. Soon as she called me over I told her that i got a call about my card being there a week ago. She stated that they only hold cards for 3 days and i asked her why no one told me this? she stated she didn't know and she would check to see if they had it. she returned with log book and stated they no longer had it and had torn it up and smiled. I waited a couple of seconds to see if she was going to order me another or offer me a solution. after a couple of more moments of silence i asked if she could order me another card and she stated she would but would take 7-10 DAYS before i would have it. I have never had any issues with U.S. Banks in Nashville but these cookeville branch hours are completely different than most and the tellers have attitude problems. I feel that me and my family will have to find another bank due to these recurring issues. It was very nice to call me and let me know that my card was there but not stating they have a 3 day policy and constantly being closed is just ridiculous.
