What used to be one of the best branches even a year ago has become one of the worst ever! Something fundamental has changed in this branch and many other locations in KC area. There is ALWAYS just one person working in the drive-through (many times one poorly trained person). Long wait time is ridiculous. I have been inside the lobby several times and found only 2 people working! I have had Business and Personal account with US Bank for many years and I am ready to leave!!!

I had this account for many years, first in St. Joseph, MO and transferred to Overland park branch. Just before Covid issues, I use to go to the lobby for any transaction. In the lobby there is plaque that says US Bank is one of most 'ethical' company. Subsequently, they opened a business account without my permission and started charging me $50.00 for a total of about $250.00. It took me several months to catch the error in the account. I went and asked the lady manager to immediately close my so called 'business account' and return my over charged money. She told me that she will enquire and rectify. Several weeks went by. Each time she will say that she is working on it. On my last visit, I was told it is taken care of. On checking, they returned only part of my money. I demanded to see the lady manager. They told me that she was fired and not available to speak to me. At that point, I gave up. So much for a most ethical company.

I tried to close my account and get a cashiers check. They said their system wasn't working correctly, and didn't give me my money. Told me to wait until the next day. Tried to call them, and they won't answer their phone. Still waiting to hear back. My account shows closed online, but still no money.

The past half dozen times I have been to this branch the drive-through line has been backed up and I’ve waited in line 15+ minutes every time. The longest time in 30 minutes until I got to the window. You guys need to staff more people at the drive up or have some better trained employees of how to move the lines along. I talked to multiple people in the drive-through who were mad because they have been waiting a really long time as well.

I can't run my business properly when the drive through is closed at 9:30am. What kind of a bank does that. I just started to use this bank because it's convenient to where I live. Otherwise it's out of my way to go to another bank.

One of my worst experience in the US till date. Most irresponsible and negligent Banker Kevin and Branch Manager Phil. Give commitments and then talk as if they are doing a favor on us. Later you only get to realize that all their words while opening your account was sweet talk and they don't really stand by what they commit. They only "assume" how US Bank works given they are employees and that we should accept the fact if their assumptions don't turn out to be true. But as a customer you are not supposed to assume but only talk facts. They don't even answer calls from the customers if they have any queries to follow up. All this stupid n pathetic experience for a mere $200 credit for opening an account with them. And the worst part is to see a Branch Manager not taking ownership of the mistakes done by his staff. Can't get worse than this. Now I see why people move from US bank to other ones. Atleast they are committed to their words. I would never recommend this Branch staff to anyone after today. Beware of Kevin and Phil guys...

This bank is so strange! I was planning to transfer all of my money into the new checking account, and I saw that they had a promotion $200 for fulfilling certain direct deposits within 60 days. I called in to make sure their branch would do the promotion...was told by a lady "yes" on the phone.. later I walked inside the bank, the guy said that he could open a checking account for me but no sign up bonus. Not sure what are they doing.

After reading the many low reviews for this branch I should've stayed away, but I kept going thinking maybe it'll get better. Boy was I wrong. This branch deserves zero stars. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME EVER coming to this branch. Literally, they've closed lobby hours now at 5, so I came through the drive thru. It took them 20 minutes to literally cash a $20 check. Like seriously? The drive thru wasn't even busy. While waiting I get asked by a second person what I was there for. Like hello? Does this team not communicate? Then when transaction is completed AFTER 20 mins, I don't even get an apology for waiting 20 mins to cash such a small check. Furthermore, I've been a US bank customer for 5+ years and cashing this check they demanded my ID even though I had signed and printed my checking account number. Seriously, thank you for treating your 5+ year customer like they're committing some fraud. I highly recommend that others just find a better branch. This branch literally gets worse by the day.

My Go To local Branch... Great customer service, from the Tellers to the Bankers to the Branch Manager.. GREAT STAFF, they treat every customer with respect and remember that they are simply temporary custodians of their customers money... The bankers are always looking out for customers financial well being, the Branch Manager never thinks he is better than his customers.. goes out his way to Greet you and check if you need anything. If you are looking for a new bank, this is the place to bring your money and all your financial needs..
