    Had to give one because that it is as low as it goes. This is literally and consistently the worst banking experience ever. No one answers the phone for information needed for account management (was actually just disconnected 3 times today). They have been rude more than once to my disabled, elderly mother who is now afraid to go inside because "it just isn't worth it". Hence the reason I need them to pick up the phone so PERHAPS they could have some compassion and prepare a check for her to pick up in the drive through. I have had to go to the closest US branch from me, which is 2+ hours to try to straighten things out (and they were quite friendly AND helpful, so I'm thinking it's a location/people issue). I have looked other places, but the rest of the loan isn't worth the move financially. Which is tragic. This branch is a disaster.

    I would give this a zero star if available. I tried to make an appointment to set up a substantial trust account a the Mountain Home bank. There is no direct phone number to the bank so the only option was to go through the the US banks central phone system. The phone options did not work The system notified "there will be brief pause while transferring" and after a few minutes it hangs up. I tried three times with the same effect. Then I went through the process at the central location to speak to a customer representative. The connection and grammar was poor but the representative was able to let me know the only way to make an appointment was online. He walked me through the online menus and it was not intuitive at all. I am savvy with internet banking and it would have taken over an hour to figure out how to make an appointment online at the Mountain Home bank. After making the appointment the representative took a screen shot of the confirmation on my computer in order to notify the bank. Really ??? When arriving to the bank which was a half hour drive away and a 15 minute wait for service, we were told that they could not help us set up a new account because they did not get the appointment information and only had three people. They apologized but there was nothing they could do and stated that they were having issues with communication and IT from headquarters. There are many other banking options and I can see why this large, beautiful, US bank only needs three people because they are poorly managed.

    Horrible service. I live out of town and am about 60 miles from the US Bank in Mountain Home Arkansas. I have a banking concern and have tried calling several times. No one answers and the phone call is cut off. If I can't contact them soon I will turn a complaint into the OCC. I'd give the Mountain Home Arkansas US Bank a zero rating. UPDATE: I made an appointment online to talk to a Mountain Home Representative. No Phone call received at the scheduled tome. A corporate CS called and said they would be in contact with Mountain Home and they should call me in the next couple days. A week has gone by and no phone call. What does a person have to do to get a question answered? Terrible, terrible service.

    I may have had to wait sometimes to meet with people, but I’ve never had a terrible encounter with US Bank. I’ve been with them for years, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Even when I lived in Japan they worked with me when I had account questions and even let my mom bring me into the bank via FaceTime to ask questions. They always greet customers in a friendly manner. They’ve never made me feel like I wasn’t worth their time. I even recently opened a new business account with them and they were extremely helpful and spent an hour and a half helping me set it up, answer my questions, and make sure I understood everything. It probably shouldn’t have taken that long, but I had a lot of questions. 😂

    One of the biggest banks in town, but only have 3 employees? Nobody ever answers the phone, and they’re only open about 7 hours a day. Really 6 because when lunch hits, no one is around, just an empty lobby with no one to help you. Customer service blows and the manager doesn’t care, he just stays in his office. You’re savings is better under your mattress than in this bank.

    I gave this branch only one star because there is nothing lower. Dealing with the same employee it took five weeks, three trips to the Mountain Home Branch trying to get one very simple ACH processed. The employee did not return my calls as requested. I finally called Minneapolis and spoke with a very nice customer representative assures me that the problem has been taken care of. I will never use US Bank again.

    The Mountain Home, AR branch has the worst customer service of any bank I've dealt with. The majority of the time I go in, there is an average wait time of a quarter of an hour, sometimes more. They usually only have one teller behind the counter, and one teller in drive through. If a company truly cares about good service, provide enough staff to quickly and efficiently take care of customers. The staff is friendly, just understaffed.

    Sat in the drive through for 15 mins, until I finally honked and someone came. Was then told to go in to cash my check since I do not have an account with them (understandable.) Then had to wait in line for 20 mins, with only one teller, just to be told they would have to charge me $9 to cash a check from THEIR customer. I have never in my life been charged for cashing a check at the customers bank. There was probably 10 people in line and the one and only teller was taking her time. Talking and joking with another employee, while everyone was obviously mad.

    The banker who told me to always see him, put me off onto someone else, now they were ok. The only reason I go to this bank is because they have branches by my other two homes out of state. I still have my old bank, but they are not a national bank. This bank has very limited hours. My other bank is open from 7:00am until 9:00pm five days and 7:00am until 6:00pm on Saturday.

    I've been with US Bank for over three years and the Mountain Home branch location is the worst in the entire country. It doesn't matter what day it is or what time of day, there is only one teller on duty in the lobby. I've never seen another teller on duty...just one. Doesn't matter if there are four or five people in line behind the one being served...there is only one teller and nine times out of ten that teller is so freaking slow. I've had it with US Bank. I'm switching banks
