the longest bank wait in town. downtown branch closed and theres only one poor teller in there. being hungover in the drive thru line for half an hour feels like a waking nightmare.

i spent a collective 50 min this morning trying to reach my branch at Bridger Plaza by phone this morning. i called the branch line, i called the 800 line and i attempted contacted on the website. Besides the stress and waste of time as described above, the lady in chat had no idea how to instruct me for mail-in deposit. i will certainly close this account upon my return to bzn. too bad, because i formerly loved this bank when it was a small bank owned by a local group. moreover, any time an employee does good things, they are immediately transferred downtown.

Have been banking here since it was Herritage Bank almost 20 years ago (bought out by US). Service over the last few years has hit rock bottom. Tried to refinance our house but no one answers the phone. Half the time the ATM is broken; can’t make check deposits greater than $3k on banking app. When the doors were open, the times I had a problem, they tried to dish me off on the 1-800 number. Had a question about a cash withdrawal, so I called the Missoula branch. I was able to actually talk to a real person inside the actual bank! When I mentioned the refinance, they quickly offered to take it on. How sad is it that the Missoula branch offered to take on a Bozeman home loan because my local branch can’t be gotten a hold of? Our house has been refinanced through another bank. As soon as that process is complete, my wife and I will be switching ALL accounts, including my business account, to the other bank. Long story short, this bank is out-dated and behind the times. Absolutely no concept of customer service or adjusting with the times. The bank isn’t even open 40 hours a week 9:30-4:00 M-F /9:30-12 Sat? What about those of us who have real jobs? How can quality bank employees survive? Rather than paying someone to reply to negative online reviews, they should have someone answering the phone. Time to move on.

Made an appointment with a loan officer to discuss a construction loan. She didn't show for our remote meeting. Then called back an hour later. Made a subsequent appointment and you guessed it...no show and we haven't heard from her since. I'm taking this as a sign. I saw good ratings for US bank that led to us reaching out to them first, but now I have to believe that was a paid advertising type of review.

Had a HORRIBLE experience at the drive thru here this evening. Pulled into line before 4pm, (3:57 to be exact) and just needed a simple cashier’s check. Instead of providing excellent customer service, the window attendant decided it would be best to ARGUE with me about what time I pulled into line and refused to serve me. She then asked multiple times if “I was refusing to leave” and threatening to call the cops...OVER A SIMPLE CASHIERS CHECK. I have been a US bank customer for over a decade, and have loved the personalized service even with it being a large corporate bank. I am unsure if it’s laziness, or simply a terrible hire but I will be closing all of my accts and moving my money to a local bank first thing in the morning. I hope the employee is properly reprimanded, as I cannot see this branch sticking around with such horrible customer service. What a bummer!!!

All I can say is wow!!!! I pulled up at 4::42 and the drive thru was closed. The sign says 5pm. I left work early to make and yet closed. Why is your time more important than mine? Your hours say 5 then you stay open till 5! This branch is a absolutely joke!

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews, I have banked with US Bank for over 6 years now and never had an issue. I use both branches downtown and off of 19th pretty consistently, as well as calling their hotlines in the past. Everyone has always been SUPER helpful, friendly, and honest. Some of them even know me by first name and make a point to get to know me! I think some of these reviewers need to remember that we live in Bozeman and bank tellers are people too who have lives outside of their job and can't run the bank 24/7. I know US Bank does offer a lot of digital services like virtual check deposit which helps if you can't get off work to deposit your paycheck! You can also schedule appointments online to work with your busy day to day life or call the hotline that has people at ALL hours (I once had to call on Thanksgiving day and was able to get help). Again, amazing help - they make banking painless and when I went through a case of check fraud last year they were able to help me keep my money safe and open a new account/cards with no hassle. If that's not enough they also support diverse communities and created a card to represent the LGBTQ+ community which is pretty progressive for a corporate bank. Anyways, thanks for being an amazing and ethical bank!!!

No words for the service at the branch on 19th ave. The drive up is a mind boggling experience in "service". The sense of urgency is laughable...i have never seen it's equal. Then you play the lottery if you are going to get a helpful person or not. But all of this is not the front line workers fault...its management. Whomever thst person is, needs to be summarily fired...like over the radio...and ads taken out in the paper. Wow...

No one knows what they are doing at this bank. Each time you speak with someone, you get a different answer every time. Cannot stress enough to stray away from this bank, especially the Bozeman branch. I have wasted 10 plus hours of my life dealing with errors.
