Beautiful house, beautiful area, quiet place and great people on the island. We had a few issues after check in that were handled after talking with the manager. Would def recommend going through this agency directly and not involve Airbnb with your rental.

Beware, this rental uses an insurance company to cover if you have to cancel reservation that requires your medical records,social security number and a statement from your doctor. Makes it impossible to get a refund. So buying insurance doesn't mean call, cancel and get a refund even if you cancel 2 months in advance.
We attempted to have this review flagged and removed because the dispute presented is outside the scope of our control. The travel insurance that was purchased is provided by a third party company CSA/Generali. The review and dispute in question really ought to be posted to their website. That being said, while we are sorry about the outcome in this situation, it is not unreasonable nor unexpected that when filing a claim with an insurance provider due to illness preventing one from travelling, one would have to provide supporting documents to substantiate such a claim. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience.

Unresponsive management group. Canceled reservation due to pandemic still waiting on refund. Cant get return phone call or email. If cities are not ready for tourist they have to be flexible during this time. The rentals were dirty. The response was lacking. Which led to the decision to cancel the next reservation. When you advise you will follow up that is what you should do. Broken appliances.

I highly recommend this group. They are very customer oriented and try to do what is right. We recently had a low water pressure issue while staying in one of their properties. They offered to move us to another unit but we declined because we only had two days left on our rental. They then gave us access to another unit to use as needed AND refunded us one night's rental. Rarely have I experienced this type of customer service.

The staff here is absolutely wonderful. I was super unhappy with a rental that I acquired online for the weekend of my wedding. I've never seen a staff so accommodating and helpful in my life. They literally only wanted my happiness and comfort. The next time I go to Tybee, I will be renting from them again, and I will be recommending any and all to do the same.

We had a horrible experience with our rental. I will preface my review with the manager did refund us $500 for our experience. The property company blamed the owners for most of the problems, saying the owners did not want to invest money back in. But if the owners are slumlords why manage their property? I do equally blame the owners for the poor experience. The pictures are misleading, the rental on 11 13th street was not quaint with charm, it was run down and dirty. The following are my complaints : - Very dirty, pillow cases, bedding, dusty lamp shades, shower floors, the whole house in general needed a deep cleaning. The cleaning crew was late and did a rush job. (I know this because we had to wait for them to finish after check in) - Kitchen sparsely stocked, only a few pots and pans and the house is advertised to host 16 people, we were not able to cook for our group of 14. *The manager brought us a new pot and pan set after we complained, and offered to reimburse the crock pot we bought. - Beds were full size, not queen as advertised. - Cigarette butts in the front yard and an animal trap in the back yard. - Parking is advertised as big enough for 4 cars, in reality it is 2 cars and a 3rd if it is parked at a slant. Street parking is not free. - Dishwasher was broke, manager told us owner knew about it and would just throw the soap in the bottom since the soap dispenser did not work. - The garbage cans were completely full when we arrived. - Ants all over the kitchen counters and large cockroaches in the kitchen and bathrooms, I understand I am in a semi tropical environment but other beach houses I have stayed in never had that problem. I am assuming a regular exterminator would take care of the problem. - Our biggest complaint (along with the house being dirty) is the refrigerator and freezer did not work properly. The maintenance guy who came to fix it brought us a big cooler but later said nothing was wrong. All of our ice cream melted while in the freezer, we even bought more after he said it was fixed and we still had melted ice cream. The fridge part only kept the drink a little cooler than room temperature. On a good note the house is in an amazing location, very close to the beach, and the wrap around porch was very nice.

Tybee Beach Vacation Rentals is the only rental company we use for our yearly girls trip. They are simply the easiest, friendliest and most flexible of rental companies. We used a couple of other companies several years ago, and did not get the same excellent customer service by far. They have some wonderful properties that are well maintained.

We have rented from these folks many times, never had a bad experience. This past weekend, we were in a condo on South Beach. When we got home, I had a voicemail saying they found a piece of jewelry- my wedding ring!!! The housekeeping staff is to be commended for their kindness and honesty. Thank you all so much!!!
