NEVER USE Truly Title. They were the title company a seller I was buying from this past summer was using, and the day before closing, I received an email from them, the “title company”, with closing/wiring instructions. It had very specific information including an accurate closing disclosure, so I then forwarded it to my lender and he approved the wire, so I sent the money for closing. Turns out that the email was a fraud email, and the wire was unable to be cancelled. It seems clear that Truly’s system was hacked since the imposter had very specific information about the transaction and the title company. We ended up losing the house and $60,000 because of this. The firm has refused to accept any responsibility and left me out high and dry. Please never use Truly Title.

Don't waste your time with Truly Title. I don't know if they are just new to the business or if the Fort Worth branch off of Hulen street is just especially incompetent. They miss deadlines, don't communicate, and have "system outages" more often than any stable company should. They have delayed our closing three times already due to "lack of documentation" but after discussing the situation with our lender we found out that the title company keeps making changes that require additional paperwork. Had we gone somewhere else, we would have already had our keys by now. In short: Truly Title is an unresponsive, unprofessional mess.
