This bank has the most stupid rules I have ever heard of. A family member needed money and I requested to deposit money with an account number and they don’t take cash unless you are the account holder. Every other bank will accept a deposit into an account with just an account number. Also they can accept cash from an account holder but not anyone else. Stupid!!! Many other banks make things so much easier.

Has to be the worst Suntrust to do business with. Had 3 accounts with them, had enough of it and closed them all. The lady that serviced the closing of my last account was very rude. Every time I have been at this location I have seen another customer come in to complain.

I paid $36 2 weeks before o stop payment on a company suntrust let it go through anyway causing my account to OD. When I called and spoke to Pheobe she was extremely rude and didn't take it off nor did she give me my OD fee back as promised. I never got to talk to the branch manager as promised. I had to file claim to get my money back. This is the worst bank ever with the rudest people. I'll be opening another account with nicer people

Avoid this place like the plague. Obnoxious staff, high fees, approves nothing. Closed my Truist account and went to a Credit Union.

This bank is not consumer friendly. I’m looking elsewhere for banking. They do have a great banking app which I really like but I can’t think of any other benefits. When I pay on my car payment or student loan payment it takes 5 business days to process the payment because it’s a payment that is processed like a check. Also, a book of checks is $20.

I have had nothing but issues. I changed my address with them and canceled my card. I ordered a new one with them that same day. The card was sent to the new address but the pin was sent to the old address. When I called to question this, they then said they couldn't change the address until the other person on the account was present. Which is fine, but why did they send my card to an address that they couldn't update in their system due to their own policy? They wanted to hold a payroll check for 3 business days. And were very rude when I told them I would cash it with my other bank who would give me the funds the same day. The continuously charge over draft fees to my account when I have a positive balance. Which cause the account to be over drawn after the charge multiple over drafts, when nothing was even over drawn. I have also called and canceled the same card twice, yet things still charge to it . This bank has been a nightmare for me. Once the army changes over my direct deposit, I will FINALLY be finished with this terrible bank. I should have listened to everyone and switched to Eastman Credit Union sooner.

This is the worst BB&T I’ve ever been to! Cancelling my account with them. The branch in NC where I lived was VERY nice, when you walked in you were greeted with a smile. AND THEY KNEW YOUR NAME! Here at this branch, not so much. Customer service seems to be lost here. My debit card was set to expire this month and I got an email in the beginning of August saying my new card was being sent in the mail. It is now a month later and still no card! I’ve called this branch time after time again just to be told they don’t know. They gave me a temporary card that doesn’t work. My expired card only works half the time, and it’s very embarrassing being at the grocery store with $200 worth of groceries just to be told your card declined. And I’m supposed to trust these people to handle my finances?! I’ll go to ECU or TVA since this branch doesn’t care about its customers.

Not quite sure how to explain it other than there is a need for staff who can work really fast. The most inexperienced group ever since the Suntrust group has moved in. Wait time has gone from 20 minutes to almost 45 minutes. And they are all not on the same page. If one is not trained to handle any types of transactions from anywhere a customer comes to or through, time to find another position. Just saying.

I used them several years ago. Good bank. Bad part I was paying attention to my money and had OD fees. Resolved the issues, bit my accounts closed because of the problems I caused not balancing and managing my money.
