Thank you to Edna Gupta! She goes above and beyond for her clients! I am one of the lucky recipients of her skills and banking knowledge! I appreciate this bank being so close to my home and very helpful and friendly staff!

I am very happy with this branch, especially Edna Guto, she is DYNAMIC! Ms. Edna goes over and above the call of duty to ensure that each client is taken care of. am so thankful for her and this branch, everyone there has been super friendly. She was able to speak with someone from another department and out issue was resolved in minutes. The person that answered the 800 number has us terrified, so we went into Branch. I highly recommend if you have an issue or question, go see or call her! Thank you, Ms. Edna,

Nichole Mckeon Is a manager at the Brunswick Forest Leland NC branch. I came to her with an issue I've been trying to sort out for nearly 3 years. She went above and beyond for me and put in a lot of time and work to resolve it. She completely fixed the problem for me, which like I said had been ongoing for a couple of years. It wasn't simple either and other people had failed in the past, myself included

I opened a regular checking account here a little over a year ago after moving to Leland/BF sinceneither of my two banks (Capitol One and a fairly large Credit Union) have branches in the Wilmington area. Pro's - Convenient Location (for me anyway). - Manger and counter person were nice and efficient when I opened my account at the Leland/Villages about a year ago. (Not sure if they are still there). Con's - They do not provide notary service for legal documents is what I was told (but there isn't much else that's needs a notary, so basically no notary). That is what I told when I opened my account, I think they said they used to notarize documents but don't anymore. I don't know if this is common to all BB&T (now Truist) branches or just this one. - Images of checks I write are not available on the website (only says check# and amount). This shocked me (and let me to write this review), as I recently needed to see a check from a year ago to get the name of the company I wrote the check to. All I could dee for the few checks I had written here was the check# and the amount. Both my other ban and CU provide hotlinks to see images of both sides of checks I write after they are cashed. - Minimum required average monthly balance is fairly high to avoid fees ($1500 for most, $1000 for seniors). This can be avoided by making this by making BB&T "more or less" your primary bank by having some number of monthly recurring deposits and/or deposits (e.g. pay check deposit, SS deposit, investment disbursements....bill payments, ). I can remember the specifics on what is required to avoid fees without keeping a significant amount of $$'s in. Unknowns: - How the creation of Truist will change things (better? worse? the same?) - Other services (Loans, Investment services, insurance...) I just took a very quick look and it seemed like my current bank, CU, and brokerage firms were better. Summary: Not on my my critical list, but I plan to close-out my account before year end. I can cash the three or four paper checks I get each year with phone app at either CapOne or my FCU. For a no fee convenient ATM machine for cash, I'll have to figure that out. Maybe a "less convenient" CapOne kiosk, or open a CU account at somewhere around here.

I love this branch in Brunswick Forrest. The people here are very friendly and listen to your requests. Last year I considered changing my mortgage from this bank to a Quicken Loans mortgage. When Quicken Loans notified them during the process, Gina called me to give me some important information. She didn’t call to try to keep me as a customer, she called to make me aware of changes I should consider because my checking account would no longer be free. She just wanted to let me know I had options to remedy that. This branch did not have to do that so I commend them. And yes, I still have my mortgage with BBT. I try to avoid the BBT bank on Village road as I have not had good experiences there- check their reviews.

As a business owner I'd expect the same level of service at every branch. This branch is by far the worst I've ever dealt with.

Convenient location. I have only used the ATM, so I can't speak for the counter service.
