Truist University Pkwy, Sarasota

We have been BBT customers for about 20 years. Today was our first in person banking transaction with Truist. Our “ banker” Amanda was rude, dismissive and unprofessional. She told us we didn’t need our mask because that was ridiculous. She never offered to help with a alternative to cashing out a CD. We were told to go somewhere else for a better rate. My idea is just move our money to another bank that values their customers. Truist phone customer service isn’t much better.

My name is David Reynolds and I've been a customer of BB& T for well over 20yrs and for all that time I've had the most pleasant experience with all the staff. On or about April 10 of 2021 one employee in particular took the time with me and was able to lower my car payments by a significant amount. Thanks to Amanda i was able to save close to $75.00 a month. Excellent associate and very knowledgeable.

During my visit to the branch Amanda showed amazing customer service. She went above and beyond Helping me with my banking issues. She even followed up with me a week later. I’ll be a customer for life!

I don't know how anyone say something bad about Amanda. She is the sweeties person that ever help me with my banking needs. She has many years of experience and is very knowledgeable. Definitely miss her at her old office.

Watch yourself at this branch.. I was there today with 2 checks to deposit, into 2 different accounts.. was at the drive through.. she only deposited 1of the checks, thankfully I checked my papers before I left.. the one she didn’t deposit was for a few thousand dollars... how can you not see 2 checks and 2 deposit slips.. 2years ago I was short changed $100.00 cash at this branch..

Amanda is Very Rude I needed a replacement ready access card which she was unfamiliar with which is understandable but her attitude and snide remarks (such what are these cards even for) were not needed she gave me a number to call which I did I had to come back in and spoke to another girl up front she didn’t know of the card either but was much more helpful . Amanda once again chimes in when asked if she gave me a replacement card Yelling “there is no such thing , I don’t even know what that card is” I completely did not like her I’m better than u attitude she really needs to work on her customer service I was a server for years and would never act the way she did

Amanda is not a very patient or good listener. Called for help with my online account and she kept commenting that she was not seeing what I was seeing. Was Constantly interrupting before I had a chance to explain where I was (online) and how I got there. End result she solved my problem, but we got there the looonnnngg way. Bottom line, she was impatient and I could feel the vibe - even though it was a phone conversation. Will not likely use that branch again.

Under New mgmt- BiBi is changing this branch to have excellent customer service. I wouldn't go anywhere else, very helpful and knowledgeable.

Been a BB&T customer for several years and like them as a whole. I go to a few offices around town depending on where I am. But will avoid this location anytime possible. They are consistently the slowest bank I have ever been to. Every time I go thru the drive thru there are maybe 1-2 people in the lobby which is not busy in my opinion. I have waited 20 minutes several times to make a deposit. Way to long got a deposit.

Class A criminals nothing but thieves. They have mastered the art of taking people's money and getting away with it. Any time You let somebody hold your money all the time and they won't let you hold a single penny of theirs you can't trust them. BB&T Bank is the worst bank anybody could have. People you need to guard your own money you don't need legal criminals to guard your money for you. Anytime you go in business with somebody and money is involved they are not on your side they are only trying to take as much from you as they can.
