I went with my Mom to take care of banking business. We waited for a good 15 minutes inside while the only teller available carried on an animated conversation with two other customers, showing each other pictures on their phones and laughing . She completely ignored us. Not impressed by her extremely rude and unprofessional behavior and we’re seriously considering changing banks.

Needed to change my name on bank account. After waiting 20 min he walks out of his office-turn lights out and informs tellers he is going to lunch. Needless to say I didn’t wait any longer. Going to open new account at different bank and close out of Truist. What happened to customer service?? Went to location on Park St and Mohamed Baydoun was great!! Greeted me when I walked in and took less than 5 min to make the change.

As a former happy Suntrust customer, I am saddened to see the absolute disregard this new Truist organization displays towards its customers. They shut down the Suntrust phone numbers without bothering to leave a message or even directing callers to the new number. Now long after the merger calls to Truist go unanswered MOST of the time during normal business hours. They don’t care.

To whom it may concern, My name is Vishi Srinivasan and I have to unfortunately agree with Cindy de haan on this branch. I myself had a bad experience last year when I was waiting for a good 10 minutes to get my credit card account accessed. There were two tellers inside and they were busy. I asked the branch manager or the assistant branch manager to help me out. They said they can't and they merged banks and she doesn't have the access and training to help me out at all. This is beyond ridiculous. On the top of that I had to explain to different teller over three times I am having trouble in registering and accessing my account online and she still didn't understand a simple thing. On the top of that when I was yelling harder at her she said calm down you are being rude. I wasn't being rude I was just explaining to her this is what I needed and to say a simple thing over and over again was atrocious. Needless to say I told them to give me the corporate office number and they were very understanding in helping me out. I will go to a different branch with Truist and never ever this branch again unless they hire completely different employees in this whole branch by replacing every single one of them. Sorry this is my opininon I went with my Mom to take care of banking business. Good for non-complex issues. Like basic deposit/withdrawal. No other personal experience to go off of. So you should heed others reviews if you need anything other then that.

My fiance brought in a check for $320 to submit to his account because the app said the system is down. They submitted $100 instead. They stole over $200.

Worst bank manager ever!!!!! Too bad you have to give one star because they deserve nothing, just like their customer service.

This merger between BB&T and Suntrust has been the most ridiculous and incompetent thing I’ve encountered in my professional career, and I’m an attorney (insert your favorite lawyer joke here). Of course it’s not the fault of the employees, who I still believe are exemplary. It’s been about 10 days since the merger. I still have no online or mobile access to my accounts despite sitting on hold a minimum of an hour each day where every customer service representative claims they have fixed the issue. I have deposited relatively common or small checks written to my business from multi-billion dollar multinational corporations, had the money made available the next day as BB&T has done for years in the regular course of business, so I then start using the funds for the business as normal, only to find out a couple days later that this “bank” Truist has now decided to take the money back that I’ve already spent and decided that it’s somehow reasonable to make me now wait 7 business days (10 calendar days) before giving the funds back to me, just in case these auto insurance companies who earn untold hundreds of millions of dollars annually and spend obscene sums in advertising, accidentally wrote me a check that might bounce. The notion that there is any logic there is simply fanciful. There are many other little things, but ultimately this merger or acquisition was poorly planned as evidenced by just these things that have happened to my small business. Fortunately I can absorb the loss hoisted upon me, but I know not every small business can. So the search begins for one of the many local banks and credit unions that I should have done years ago and have nkw paid the price. Moreover, having my firm’s money parked at a local institution is much more likely to benefit the local economy. Anyone looking to move to this new entity called Truist who calls itself a bank, I hope you do your due diligence. I should have left after it took longer than a few days to give me online access to my business accounts. Don’t make the mistake I did. And again, the local employees are all great and I’ve been fortunate to get to know many of them and have enjoyed that aspect immensely. Undoubtedly, things would be much worse were it not for them. Hopefully this will save someone from the insanity I’ve been engulfed in the last 10 days and can’t wait to finally close those accounts. Bigger is not always better. Sometimes it’s much, much worse.

Rude customer service and employees have an overall bad attitude. We will be closing our accounts with them.
