    I had trouble logging in to the bank website. I called and spoke with a young lady by the name of Jasmine. I was aggravated and ill because of the merger with my current bank, SunTrust. It was causing me stress because i was unable to log into my account and make my vehicle payment. I had already been on hold for 30 minutes using the 800 number so my emotions were already high. Jasmine was very understanding, professional, and mature about the matter and she was able to help me solve my issue in just a few minutes. Jasmine renewed my faith in Good Customer Service. Thank you so much Jasmine. I will not forget what you have done.

    I bought a new vehicle and the following day removed the warranty in the amount of $8000, Ethos Group sent out a check to Truist with all of my information, Truist then deposited the $8000 to an account that wasn’t mine on 4/19/2022, I had to contact Ethos to make sure they sent the check which is when they stated it was sent and cashed by the bank on 4/19/2022. I called Truist bank 20 times from 4/20/2022-4/26/2022(today) and they still have no removed my money from the account they placed it in into my account to apply toward my loan, Truist fraud department has stated they were unable to reverse the $8000 check that clearly wasn’t supposed to go into someone else’s account.

    I have had great experience with BB&t banking with them for over 30 years. I used to bank with what was first Union which morphed into wachovia, then morphed into Wells Fargo and had a very negative experience with that organization. I had more money in my bank account then was being asked for on a mortgage and was told I did not make enough money. What a joke I went to BB&t and was approved immediately.

    I would give zero stars if I could. The staff needs to be trained on how to address a customer with respect and dignity. The ladies at the window counter were nothing short of demoralizing and rude as my son was trying figure out why they had someone else’s name on our safe deposit box. After giving us multiple pieces of wrong information about our account, the proceeded to tell us that they had drilled our safe deposit box out and removed the contents. Why you may ask? Not an earth shattering reason. They just wanted to have an updated lease agreement initialed. Since the safe deposit box is paid for by autodraft, it wasn’t due to lack of payment. Seems simple enough. Not a big deal right? The teller proceeds to tell us that it was our fault that we didn’t respond and/or update our address to receive the letter they sent. (They don’t have phone, email, or text at BB&T???) But ok, the letter. So she disappears for 10 minutes or so and comes back with an envelope bearing the contents of our safe deposit box. She also gives us the “letter” that was sent to us and I see that they had my updated address on it, but put an extra digit on our house number. In other words, it was a human error. On their part. Since we receive statements from BB&T, it’s obviously not wrong everywhere in their system. So I can understand that mistakes happen. What I can’t understand is the dismissive, demoralizing attitude utilized by the people at their bank when they made multiple mistakes and proceeded to blame us. You really could only send 1 letter and not attempt any other contact before breaking into our box and removing our private things? Couldn’t call? Couldn’t text? Couldn’t email? I asked the names of the people that were working with us. One of them angrily came to the counter and held her name badge up as another teller started yelling at us. Oh, but no one thought to double check and make sure that things were updated now. Nor did anyone think to offer a new box since they destroyed the old one (wrongly). Will be moving our accounts out to another bank. I don’t suggest banking with these peoples. I certainly hope that the “T” in their name doesn’t stand for “trust.” Oh wait... I think it does... More importantly

    BB&T is the best bank I've ever done business with. There isn't even a close second to them! They are the best blend of a large & a small hometown bank possible. I've done a lot of business with different banks over the years for both personal & business banking. BB&T has such great service that I don't even look at others anymore. I use them for virtually every banking service. I can't believe that someone has given them a bad review for taking Christmas off! Ignore that review and use BB&T. If you have never been a client you don't know just how good a bank can be! I've used different branches and over the years different people with BB&T and all of the branches set the bar at a new level that you won't find at other banks. They deserve 10 Stars! Really! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    After over a hour long wait at the bbt drive thru (that I only come to because my company banks with them) I came to make my deposits and get change for my store (some 10’s 5’s quarters and pennies $60 worth ) the teller took all my deposits did them and then told me she couldn’t give me coins for my company then then gives me back a $20 bill and 40 singles when I didn’t ask for singles at all. I’m disgusted at bb&t because they can’t accommodate the needs of a businesses that banks with them for $60 dollars worth of change my company can make deposits at ANY BANK so I will find one that can accommodate our SMALL change request.

    Josh is AWESOME. If I had met him prior to switching to Bank of America, I would have never left BB&T. He is always super friendly and helpful, and very honest. He gave me good advice, and even waited on hold with Bank of America with me just to make sure my money was transferred. What a gent! Very cool guy. I hope to do business at this branch again soon.

    My sister and i went in there with our checks this past Wednesday. We went through the drive thru and were highly disappointed. She had asked my sister what kind of transaction she wanted. My sisters transaction went through smoothly, but when i handed my check in, the lady did not bother to ask me what kind of transaction I wanted. I waited a whole day for my money to deposit into my checking account. Let me be clear, we handed in TWO different bb&t cards and ID’s. She did not even bother to look at my ID. As i wanted for my check to be in my account, i found that it was missing. I had to contact my sister to ask if my money was in her account, and MY check went into her account. This worker was very lazy and highly neglected to even check something so simple.

    No Loyalty to long time customers--just another number. I admitted that I made a mistake in my checkbook that resulted in 3 overdraft charges. I asked for a personal banker, and got Josh. I said it was my mistake, but could they take off the over draft fees? I was told no- that did not fit their "model". they can only take off one, every two years---ok,I had one about 2 years ago. IN THIRTY YEARS, I MIGHT HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN 4 TIMES. I have my mortgage, home equity line, and two credit cards. My/your business does not mean anything. Apparently, they have so much money, that they can afford to lose mine. I made an appt to meet with BOA on Monday--its too bad BB&T, that I thought more of you apparently, than you think of me. I
