With every passing day I regret signing up for this bank. They don't do anything about unsafe loitering even at their front door. The online banking is ridiculously bad. The ATM is always down or walks you slowly through many steps and then says it cannot process. 2 out of 3 times you have a 15 to 30 minute wait. I highly do not recommend.

I came to get so change for my business. They informed me they were opening late today at 10am due snow. I show up at 10am and there are some people finishing shoveling and salting sidewalk (mostly done). I walk up to the door and they opened the door to tell me they were not going to open until the men with shovels were completely done. They made me stand outside for 5 minutes while they finished. Didn’t make any sense and was really poor customer service.

I went on-line to open up a savings account. I received a e-mail telling me that my debit card would come in the mail in 5-7 days. I called Sun Trust customer service center. When I call about the debit card the people that I spoke to acted as though they could not heard me. The last time I call I spoke to a lady. First she told me she could not find information about the account I open up. Then I gave her the account numbers. She told me the debit card would come in 5-7 business days. I told her the e-mail I received told me 5-7 days not 5-7 business days. When I got the debit card in the mail I had a hard time activating the card. When I finally was able to activate the card I found out my account was closed without me knowing. I try to get my paycheck deposited into a account not knowing that the bank closed my account. Sun Trust was sending me information that was not important. They should have sent me information letting me know the account was close. I was not pay on time because the account was close without me knowing. If I would have known the bank closed my account I would not have try to get my paycheck put into a account that was close. It is a problem with some of the people that work at the customer service call center. I am going to contact this bank CEO to figure out who in charge of closing people accounts and why the bank closed my account without letting me know. I been post this review but the date change when i made a change to the review.

As a new account holder, I called the Branch spoke with Zina. I inquired about depositing my payroll check as my initial deposit with the understanding of receiving CASH back. Her response was LESS THAN POLITE & PROFESSIONAL with the response I would be charged a check cashing fee to cash my check to recv cash back today I then asked to speak with her manager CHRIS, before being transferred I aked her to explain my dilema which she DID NOT. After speaking with CHRIS, HE WAS LESS THAN RESPECTFUL AS WELL. IF THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT NEW CUSTOMERS, SUNTRUST NEEDS TRAINING IN ADDRESSING CUSTOMER NEEDS..... BASICALLY THEIR CUSTOMER FOCUS HINGES ON A BUNCH OF BS (@#%%#*)
