Never leave reviews, but wow talk about a lack of customer service. Walk in, there isn’t a single other person but me. 3 women at the counter, I’m not greeted at all. Stand there, because I can wait. Courtney is finally able to assist me and her whole demeanor came off like she was bothered to help me. Truly unprofessional. I’m sorry your job is bank teller and you have to service people that come to the counter? I’ll drive to Saline from now on for better service.

A week ago, I pulled the trigger on a big ticket item. I applied online for a loan on Sunday. The very next day, someone had reach out to me and made the process totally remote and easy. The dealership was extremely slow and gave the purchase agreement just the night before the deliver. The two loan officer working with me went above and beyond to make sure we could close the loan within 24h. They them sent me to the Ypsilanti branch to pick up my check on my way to the dealership. By the time I explain my visit to the cashier, some in the back came to hand out my check. It's my second loan with True Community, and so far, their staff is great and the experience has been positive.

The headache that I wish I could give back... I ignored all the bad reviews and decided to try them anyway. The list of reasons is too long... I just wanted to get a credit card to build credit. I hooked it up to automatically pay my car insurance and I thought it would be easy to just pay off each month and build credit... but I have to physically drop money off, not allowed to pay it with my debit card from my home bank, or pay over the phone, so I must withdraw cash and laboriously hand it to them like it's 1771. They unexpectedly deactivated my card and I could barely get ahold of someone to help. Someone leaves me a voicemail saying that it wasn't activated but it's good now even though I've used the same card for over a year... I don't even want to fight with them about things anymore, I'm closing my account.

I love True community credit union. I love the staff they are like family and they care just like a family would, they are patient. Understanding and so very helpful with individual needs i have recommended them to many people and i will continue to do so.

Cannot believe I cannot set up bill pay service prior to official switch over date! I am switching to a different bank so set up / transition can be done seamlessly. You just lost a 15 year member!

The staff is customer friendly. They are all very aware of who their customers are. They great me by my preferred name. I started with Vanessa at the other branch. When she moved I was a little upset but the move just made me comfortable with visiting both branches. There both AWSOME!!! It's the people that make the bank. I'm not crazy about some of the bank protocols but the customer service is the reason why i have been with them for 17 years.

The employee who created our accounts was incredibly friendly and knowledgable, and it really left a great first impression. Unfortunately, every single subsequent interaction with the tellers here has been as unpleasant as it was unhelpful. Tellers act as though your very existence is a massive inconvenience and every basic transaction is treated with the scrutiny of a disgruntled TSA worker on a power trip. Take your money elsewhere.

I would leave no stars here if I could, I had the worst customer service experience.

I was a customer here for years while I lived in Michigan. My first year or so with this credit was relatively uneventful. It went downhill from there. There is little to no customer service for starters. I thought I was crazy when I would walk in and felt like the tellers were staring me down like I'd just walked in on their juvenile gossip sesh and that I was inconveniencing them for coming into their work space. I don't know why I stayed with them so long. Once, they took $400 from me because they processed a check twice or something. They didn't really explain what exactly happened, but did treat me like a criminal and refused to apologize when they realized it was their mistake. And they also couldn't understand why I was so upset about that situation either. Every visit there was exhausting, trying to be polite and pleasant and they stare at you blankly. I had an experience with a fraudulent charge and they basically told me there wasn't anything they could do to help me and I needed to call the retailer. Then when I finally move unexpectedly, I didn't have time to change banks and that became a problem for them too. I know plenty of people who had a CU in one place and moved and it wasn't an issue and as far as I know, it's really not a big deal either, but to them it was. I finally closed the checking card associated with the account a few weeks ago after a fraudulent charge and just didn't want them to mail me a new card in a new state because I didn't want to waste my energy fighting with these people. Wanted to know the best method to transfer funds to a new account, and the only way according to them was for me to be present in the bank. Whereas with other CUs you can transfer from one CU to another. So I guess that brings me down to lack of technology. They just now got an app, they can as of like 6 months ago do mobile deposits but there's so much else you can not do with this CU. This place is a combination of terrible customer service, although I did see a teller be REALLY nice to a white guy one time, and then when it was my turn, she was basically disgusted with my presence and lack of technology. Go somewhere else. The fact that this place had no fees is what drew me in. But it's not worth it. The staff literally treats you like you're a garbage can. It's also obvious to me that whoever might be running this place doesn't care about customers because they would have responded to all the other negative reviews by now. It sucks that I don't have my WFCU card anymore for one reason: when I would use my card, sometimes the cashier strikes up a conversation about what 'Washtenaw' is and I get to lovingly talk about my little town in Michigan. This CU gives Ypsi a bad name.

That have bombarded me with junk mail in the US postal Service. I mean BOMBARDED! EVEN AFTER I REQUESTED IT TO STOP. THEY DID STOP, BUT IN JUNE, THEY DECIDED THAT MAYBE I DIDNT MEAN IT SO THEY STARTED UP AGAIN!! WHAT?? WHO DOES THAT?? HIGHLY AVOID THIS CREDIT UNION AS THEY WILL SEND YOU ENDLESS OFFERS AND JUNK MAIL!!! Now I have to send them pics of junk mail so they can figure out why....
