When TowneBank bought Monarch a few years ago, I wasn't very happy and considered moving to another bank. But after working with Stephanie in the greenbrier office, I decided to stay and I'm glad I did. She is great to work with and has helped us multiple times as our business grows.

Worst mortgage company ever! Not 1 but 2 horrible experiences with this lender. We bought our first home with Towne Mortgage about 6 years ago we were approved for an FHA loan with zero down as first time home buyers. 3 days before closing they suddenly tell us that we just barely missed the zero down and that we had to give them 5k (exactly the amount we had in savings for renovations)or we wouldn't be able to close on the short sale that we had been waiting 9 months for. So against my better judgment we recently began working with them again trying to do a construction loan because it was easier for our builder. We started this process in June and they basically put us on the back burner. They have lost and requested we resubmit paperwork multiple times. It is currently almost 6 months later and they now tell us that this build is not feasible. So after waiting for 6 months for them to get their act together and having to shell out $500 for an appraisal I have nothing to show for it. They are crooks and look for anyway to get their hands on more money. Do not trust them. Horrible customer service!

Nancy Hall is tremendous. Anytime I need anything she makes herself available to assist me. Obviously I am not the only TowneBank customer but she cares enough to make me feel that way. She is a true asset to your bank.

They are nice people and they’re fast & friendly. As for the bank overall, I may rate it a little less, but this review is for the branch leaders and workers.

they deserve no stars they sucks THEY HAVE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE my bank was bought by their company and they just suck plain suck i hate them

Wrost customer service ever and all the teller and bank representative was just plain rude. Will never do business there again.

Did not let me use bathroom.
