The Bank of Glen Burnie Crain Hwy, Glen Burnie

I just re-financed my car loan through Capitol One. The rate is lower and it is easy to make a payment. Through the Bank of Glen Burnie, it was very difficult to make a payment. Very inconvenient. They also have an app but you can't even use that to make the payment. Too ghett-o for me. The dealership set me up. Next time I buy a car, i'm going to make sure i tell them up front not to set me up with any small, unknown hood banks. I'm a good customer and I pay my loan on time every month. I don't need the aggravation.

Been wanting to make the switch to these guys for quite some time and finally did so. I have been with quite a few banks over the past 25 years and BofGB is up there with the best of them. They may not have all the latest cutting edge tech that the large national banks carry, but they are rooted deeply in the local community and understand that their customers are their neighbors and friends and treat them as so. Both from a business standpoint and on a personal level. Something that is extremely hard to find with almost any bank these days!

9/7/2018 - Got email from Asst. Manager Revaria Beach branch to call. When I spoke to this person, they informed me my wife's Social Security Deposit for Wednesday would be rejected because her name is not on the account. WHAT? They accepted these payments for FIVE years and now your giving me essentially 48 hours notice. Wanted me to bring in wife to sign off as being joint account. Trouble is, she is currently on crutches with torn ligament and dislocated kneecap. Didn't matter.... please never let me see a review that says this company has great customer service!

This has to be the worst run financial institution I have every dealt with. Each time I call in I find each person I talk to understands nothing and is no help with anything. I want to make a simple payment over the phone for a loan with them, they make it the hardest possible thing ever to do and still will not allow me to pay the debt. They have great arrangements with local dealerships because when I first spoke to the dealership about financing another company had a lower rate but than on my paperwork they were the finance company of choice (I did not choose them). I was too far in the process and the rates were very little in difference so I decided not to say anything and I felt it would be good to support a local bank. What a big mistake! I am sure the dealership is receiving some type of kickback because of how I was bamboozled into using bank of glen burnie. They have no understanding of customer service and charge for everything. They are charging me 2.50 so I can pay the car loan I have with them over the internet. I work in finance and understand what it takes to setup an automatic payment but to the bank of glen burnie setting up and auto draft takes 4 weeks. They are a bunch of incompetent minimum wage employees whohave no idea what they are doing. Any other ban ks that reads this please email me so I can refinance my auto loan. I will take a higher rate to get away from this corrupt and poorly run bank.

I had an excellent experience over paying off my car loan. Each time I called, staff were courteous and very efficient. In less than a week I got a package including the title! Thank you all!

If I could give less than one star I would!!! Nothing about their information is correct, and according to them that's not their problem, the manager Valerie is incompetent and basically useless... Trust me when I say, find a better bank...

Much nicer than the mega-banks. Always knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Been with them 5 years, very satisfied.

I currently have an auto loan with BOGB. Extremely limited office hours and overall poor service. The whole operation seems stuck in the early 1990’s. Currently refinancing just to separate from them.

I have be with several banks .. I think this is a great Bank .. Everyone is always so nice .. I they are always happy to help you ...

Best community bank in Anne Arundel county! Customer Service is the best around!
