I would give this company -5 stars if I could! I have never received such bad service in my entire life, which really is saying something. Elizabeth Domino was very unprofessional and had a verbal argument with my spouse. Afterwards she tried several times to "adjust" the amount of money we were getting after closing was already signed and done. Then she had the audacity to get upset with us for questioning her. To mess with us even further because she was upset, she sat on our funds until the end of the day and sent us a email saying because it was the end of the day not only will we not be receiving our funds that day, we won't get them until after the weekend and the holiday! Very professional Ms. Domino. After closing it took approximately 1 week to receive the funds that should have been received in one day. In the end they couldn't even get that right! It took them so long to complete the wire transfer to our account we had to demand they cut us a check, go pick up said check, and deposit the funds ourselves! This company has very shady business tactics and I was left with the impression no one there knew what they were doing. I believe they are trying to scam customers and sneak in hidden fees to steal funds. They had an excuse for everything and supplied no solution. I'm sure someone from the company will read this review, give a false apology, and try to back pedal to give their side. Don't waste your time and you can save it! If you are a potential customer and read this review, you've been warned!!!
You have greatly exaggerated and misstated the facts. It is not Ms. Domino's fault that you did not like the terms of your cash out refinance and that your lender had to correct your CD multiple times. She did her best to explain that the law requires a waiting period before you can receive your money and your spouse was the one that didn't want to hear it. We don't make the rules and certainly won't break them for anyone no matter how much you complain or insult us.

My experience with Texas Lone Star Title has been awesome. They are conveniently located, there is plenty of parking and a first floor office. The staff is well educated on title matters and extremely courteous and expedient with answering any questions or concerns. Every closing i had went quite smoothly and i have a couple more files with them now. I would highly recommend them.

After closing with several title companies, I had the unpleasant experience with Texas Lone Star Title. They were not on time with my clients survey, our closer seem to be rushing and not knowing what each form was for. I had to explain it to my client as we went. They kept us waiting for more than 2 hours, because they would miss a form. They also had to rerun the numbers because I noticed the taxes were off. I try giving them the benefit of the doubt, but they couldn't eveb make a a check for my client from the excess on her cash to close. My client had to come back the next day for ir. I also asked them to mail my check and 3 days later i asked if they did because i checked my mail and didn't receive anything. Turns out they never sent it. Like, dont say you will do it and then don't.They couldn't even wire it to her account stating there would be a fee of 17 dollars. Like really? Closing on a home is something people look forward to have a great experience. That day my clients and I felt bump and confused as of why we had to wait so much and felt they didnt know what that were doing. If you get a realtor wanting to close with them... make sure you say no.. save your self from the headache.
We are sorry you had a bad experience with your closing. We did not realize that the survey company we ordered it from was backed up 2 weeks when ordered so we ended up changing it to another company last minute that could do it over the weekend so that we could close on Monday. We covered the cancellation fee from the first company out of our pocket. The lender was able to approve it the same day we received and sent the package over on the day of closing with the incorrect figures. We had to get on the phone with the lender several times to straighten it out until they finally made all of the changes on the CD. When it rains it pours so of course our copy machine where we had to print the huge lender packet decided to go on the fritz the same day. The closing really should have been delayed but since you informed us that it could not be delayed we rushed everything to make sure they closed on Monday. Unfortunately when things are rushed that means all lose ends have to be tied up last minute. As far as your check, you just sent us your CDA today so we could not cut your check before then. We have to have a CDA to know who to cut the checks to and in what amounts. We do not charge a fee for wires so I'm not sure where you got that from. We cannot refund someone their overage when they pay with a cashier's check until the cashier's check shows up in our system and we are approved to fund. That's just how the process works. When closings are later in the day than means the refund would be the following day. If our closer seemed a bit frazzled that was because she is new (our usual closer was quarantined to the house last week unexpectedly and other one was handling a mobile signing) she was dealing with a copy machine that doesn't work and trying to tie up all lose ends the same day. Again, we apologize that you and your clients had an unpleasant experience. Times are hard right now and I hope that you and yours stay safe.
