This is one of the worst banks with which I've ever done business. They have the most ridiculous hidden fees. They seem rather deceptive as well. I was supposed to get a $150 bonus ninety days after opening my account. My wife called to ask about it, and they told us we have to wait another ninety I guess to ensure our loyal business. They should say six months if it's truly a bonus that we'll ever receive. They are the worst. Stay away.

Amazing staff and customer service! Today, I unfortunately discovered my debit card information was stolen, and someone was trying to use my information to make purchases in another country! I contacted TD bank through the app and spoke with a representative who was extremely nice, funny, and helpful. In a very scary situation, the representative managed to calm me down, make me laugh, and assure me that the issue would be resolved by the end of the day. Ultimately, she froze my account and canceled the card and recommended I visit my local TD bank branch before they closed. It was approximately 5:30 pm when I arrived, and I started to get nervous again when I saw 4 people ahead of me and expected a long wait because there were only two tellers at the front, but within 5 minutes, it was my turn and I explained my situation. The woman at the front desk, I didn’t catch her name, but as I explained my situation to her, she was very helpful and understanding, and she made me feel better by explaining the same thing had happened to her not too long ago, and offered tips on how to avoid this happening again in the future. Within minutes, she directed me to a Financial Services Representative named “Sarah” who was very knowledgeable about the situation and extremely likable and helpful! She asked me a few questions, and got me a new card and PIN number much faster than I expected! She even gave me her card to follow up with her directly just in case I have any similar issues in the future. I’m so happy I chose to open my checking account with TD Bank and I’m thankful for the friendly and fast services the team on NW 43rd street have to offer!

Terrible customer srvc! Never can get a straight answer it’s always some other departments fault! Will hold your money for 10 days even though they’ve already taken the money out of account the check was from all the while you are accruing overdraft fees!

Definitely NOT your community bank. 43rd Ave Branch Manager is completely unprofessional and rude. She will not provide any kind of customer service and treats everyone with disrespect. Seems even her employees as turn over there is weekly and employees look miserable in their jobs, which in turn shows in their customer service. The branch manager REFUSED to provide her supervisors name and contact information. Had to call corporate office in NC to get her supervisors name and number. Where is that not policy? This bank is absolutely unable to communicate regarding business issues. Should have closed my account a year ago when the let fraudulent checks go through my account and then took 6 months to refund the money. Every time I inquired with their customer service rep they “just needed one more thing......” not sure if it’s poor training or incompetence. Now a year later they want me to change accounts (which for a business is incredibly time consuming) and when I didn’t respond to her email she froze my account and canceled our debit cards without notification! All payroll Checks and vendor checks returned marked “insufficient funds”. Go to a credit union, or really any other bank other than TD BANK. Search reviews, all negative. So many similar stories.

THIS IS SHAMEFUL! I highly don’t recommend you guys to go this place, I was trying to minimize the time and I created an appointment and they made me wait around 1 hour until 4 pm even though my quote was at 3 pm. It is completely an inefficient service and really slow. They just say the same script apologizing, but it is not worth it.

Super ridiculously slow service. Doesn’t make any sense. I really try to minimize my time here by NOT coming here. Unfortunately due to cv19 some services are limited and you have to do everything through the drive up. But you would think they would up their game here and provide faster service. Totally not the case. If you want to burn gas and time, this is your spot.

worst location ive been to. waited 2 hours for help. waled into a not busy bank and then walked up to tell them i needed a new card and they told me to sit and we will have your card waiting for you. i waited and waited and waited till they had 5 people helping cuz the line was about to be out the door and then a women takes a girl in front of me taking like 20 min. i ask her how much longer and her answer was ill get to you when i can. i finally go back and she closes my other card that had nothing to with the reason i went in for. wont go back to this location ever again

I opened my account at this branch almost two years ago. The vist today I waited in lobby about 15 minutes and there was a CSR that had a customer, the other one had just got back from lunch. The teller sends a customer over in front of me, and I was never acknowledged. The other CSR gets done with her customer never looked I'm in the lobby and finally I was very aggravated went over and said can you help me. She stated well I didn't know you were waiting, and I was so upset and said never mind went and made my deposit and left. I needed to update my beneficiaries on my IRA and make a withdraw. I worked in banking for 28 years and few months agoretired you dont treat customers this way. I know how it is about reviews but I had enough because this is second time this had happened at this branch. I'm closing all my accounts first of year because of this and go back to a credit union.
