Steer clear of Commack TD Bank! Your money will thank you for keeping it safe! Based on their attitudes towards customers they will not loose a wink of sleep over you! I wrote a very long and detailed review post/story which did not post...mmm I wonder... anyway if I can find time I will rewrite and try again. After you will never risk banking here ever again I promise! Short story- they handed over to an disgruntled EX employee more than half our total cash balance (a lot of money) with nothing more than a handwritten withdrawal slip and never so much as made a verification phone call. Nearly put us out of business. We had an account with TD for at least 13 years (when we first started) and as a result of the incident just closed it and moved all our banking down the block to Chase ( who had a much better bus act pkg- silver lining). The worst part of it all it really seemed like Karen or anyone for that matter could care any less about this. We will survive I’m sure but just how long will a business like TD whose very job is to keep our hard earned money safe and be nice in the rare case we walk into the branch anymore. You be the judge here but do so while banking elsewhere.

This branch was THE worst TD Bank experience I had in 2 yrs as a customer. First, I am the only one in line for at least 10 minutes while 2 other tellers are sorting something out on their computer. A manager was standing there behind the counter doing nothing. Literally staring above me and around me. No one even looked at me or apologized for the wait! Nothing. Totally ignored. Second, I had to try to re-open one of my accounts that they closed on me there and a woman customer service rep was very cold, giving me no answers without alternatives and without feeling. Like I was bothering her. This after she called me over with all the charm of a probation officer. I walked out telling her this was the worst branch I've ever been in. She then said "thanks for banking with us" as I was walking out.

Worst bank I have ever been to with out a doubt. Disrespectful and rude assistant manager and employee, and on top of it one of the guys who works there hits on the younger women that come in. I have been banking with them for over 3 years for my job and I have never been so disappointed and disrespected by "professional" business employees. If you work at a bank all you need is to be friendly, you dont need experience. I also work with customers hense why I'm coming here for my retail job. I get paid WAY less than these bank tellers and frankly I am more friendly to my customers then they are. Considering my job has been their every day customer since before the 3 year mark I've been working here you think they would treat us with some respect but they dont care.. I have never been so upset with the situation this bank put me in hense why I am saying something. One of the employees was giving my co worker a hard time about coins in the bank slip and she had warned me about her attitude. She described to me what the employee looked like and I had thought I never had seen her before, and sure enough the next time I go in shes there taking care of me. Sure enough like my co worker said, she gave me an attitude about how we do the bank deposit the same way we have been doing it before I started working there. She gave me a huge attitude as if she had already spoken to me about the problem directly when I had never spoken to her before and its frankly not a big deal if the coins go in with the money or the checks. The next time I came in I made sure to do what she asked. Of course the next time i go in shes there to serve me, so I think to myself I should be overly nice to get her on my good side since I'll be coming in alot for my job. I walk in ans ask her how she was and she looks at me with no response, takes my bank deposit and says nothing. Doenst even thank me for doing it the way she requested. Doesnt greet me likee any of the other employees. She gives me my deposit slip and says nothing. I then said to have a nice weekend and she looked at me in my eyes and didnt respond AGAIN. I found that so rude, uncomfortable unprofessial and disrespectful. No communication whatsoever. I decided to call to speak to the manager to discuss the problem and maybe ask that she does not serve me anymore it's very frustrating to have to go to a bank every day if I feel uncomfortable. I addressed the situation to the assistant manager over the phone and since I did not know the employees name they asked me to describe her. They were trying to tell me I had the wrong branch and that they had no employee described as so... when I was describing her very well. We argued back and forth then she finally told me the employees name was florence. She was trying to get me to give up. I then told her that florence honestly scared me and the assistant manager chuckled/ laughed when I said the word "scared". I was really taken back and speechless. I then asked her why saying her employee is scary is funny? Then she tried denying that she laughed and said it wasnt funny. And I was like yes this is serious not funny. Maybe I should have used the word intimidating but never the less she DID laugh and not take me seriously. I then had to come in the next day and she sure enough was the one helping me. All I did was address the fact that now I only dont feel disrespected by florence, but I feel disrespected by the assistant manager for laughing at me being serious and professional as possible. She was not okay with me standing up for myself in the best way possible. She told me she didnt appreciate me coming in and accusing her of laughing at me when she really did, I have no reason to make this up. She then ignored me and told me she had nothing to say to me because she "spoke to florence"... all I was doing was trying to address the problem professionally and she was not happy about it. I did not make a scene, for I hate annoying customers. But I will stand up for myself If it crosses my line. Apparently now I'm not allowed to go back to the bank.

Worst TD Bank branch Ever! I have been a TD business client for 8 years. The manager at this branch (Karen Sprague) convinced me to bank elsewhere. I came in to do a wire out for a transaction and she refused, claiming that no one in that branch recognized me! Never heard that excuse before, given I had all of my IDs with me and a photo of me is easy enough to Google. In any case, she refused to issue a denial in writing and when I said I wouldn't leave without written proof, she called the police. Naturally, I waited for the officers to arrive and when I explained the problem they said they would issue me a report, but wanted to talk to the manager first. Surprise surprise. They went up to the counter and we're told the manager had hightailed it out of there as soon as she saw the squad cars coming in. So I have the denial in writing, in the form of a police report. Now deciding whether to go to court and sue TF and the manager personally, or whether to just report them to DFS. Avoid Ms. Sprague like the plague. She should not be allowed to deal with other human beings in a business setting. She single handedly undermined a major commercial transaction by refusing to do her job...

This branch is without a doubt my favorite banking Branch to go to. I've dealt with many different branches from many different banks and it's nice to have one that I enjoy and trust so close to my house. The staff is always eager to help you no matter the issue and always does it with a great attitude. I would refer anyone to open up a TD bank account at this branch. -Brandon Austin -Commack NY/Bradenton FL

Yesterday I came here to unlock my online banking account due to the representative claiming I had to go their personally. The lady Ewa is her name claimed she was still on hold so I called them and they answered in less than a minute so she lied. I waited for over an hour for her assistance. Never again.

This bank took FOREVER to open the front lobby - drive-thru banking was extremely slow and the lines were FOREVER!! I would not call that a People Friendly Bank at all.
