TD Bank S Main St, Greenville

Never banked here but, I was aware it's the first bank in the state of South Carolina. Proudly displayed on the side of the building is a nice plaque describing its history. Mounted underneath is its bronze National Register of Historic Places marker.

Not The Bank But The Two Ladies That Work In front lobby should be placed in a daycare facility to work. All they do is tell liars and the truth is not in Them. I'm speaking about the two Representatives that at the front door everyday. Really was not any help to me.

Elliott is an absolutely AMAZING branch manager. As a person with a severe medical condition keeping them from wearing a mask, most people show more judgement and less compassion. A lot of people discriminate against me and after a while it gets depressing. Thanks to Elliott, I am able to have and keep a bank account. He is kind and ALWAYS knows what he is doing. He goes to great lengths to be sure that I am treated equal like any other customer. Even when an employee at the bank tried to discriminate against me and verbally treat me poorly, he stepped in instantly and he resolved the situation and explained to his employee that she was mistaken about their policy and he was sure to educate her on the correct policies. I'm not sure what our family would do without him! Never stop being different from the rest TD BANK!😊

TD Bank on Main Street in Greenville is a well managed and operated bank branch that makes it very easy to do all of your banking all in one place. The staff here is very professional and takes time to make sure that you are helped and that you are able to accomplish all of your banking and financial goals. This branch is well worth your time to come here.

Some of these reviews are really harsh. I have banked with TD for over 7 years primarily at the Mauldin branch. I don't go into the Mauldin branch often but when I do the people are great to deal with. I had to go to this location and it was my first time visiting this branch. They are a great group too! We were met by Elliot and he was very customer service focused and could not have made our visit easier.

TD Bank is decent to deal with but has many of the same overdraft service schemes that almost all brick and mortar banks use to siphon off fees from your accounts. Even if you decline their Debit Card Advance service from day one of opening an account, you will be inundated with pop-ups when you try to log-in to online banking, asking you to enroll in Debit Card Advance before you can even access your transactions. Even if you decline this service, they can fee your account into the negative and then charge you a $20 sustained overdraft fee. I'm sick of not being able to simply log-in to online banking and seeing my transactions without being solicited.

TD Bank is absolutely positively the most aggravating bank to deal with. I would never never never ever recommend this bank to anyone! They will nickel and dime you to death. They will take your money and call it a fee!!!!!! They have taken $1,000.00 from me while they hold the certified checks and money orders that I deposit! They will hold cash that you deposit into an atm. An atm designed to count the money that you deposit and won't release it until the atm is collected! There debits and credits online do not operate on real time so you never no by their online banking how much money you have in your account.

TD Bank is great. This location is so convenient right downtown on Main St. right next to the bus terminal. Assistant Manager Amelia Wilson and Financial Service Rep J. Taylor Cox are super helpful and knowledgeable. The money they give out is often full of germs and bacteria so you need to wash your money and your hands if you touch it. After you wash your money and your hands I recommend spraying it with essential oils and then after it's almost dry...flatten it between books and under heavy weights. Once you have clean flat money that smells good you're all set!

I'm still going to bank with them. That they can't cash a payroll check with out the backing funds makes them below most the digital banks other than you can go in and get a new card any day of business. Direct deposit won't hit til 4am. That's my bank. That's my bank

During this stressful time we often have to reach out to our banking system for support. After placing a call to TD Bank Small Business Department I was transferred to "Gregory" in Greenville SC Small Business Section,( on 5/8/20 at 5PM) i refer him to that way because after he was so rude and belligerent to me on the phone, i confirmed this was a recorded call and asked for a reference number which he refused and then tried to back speak out of his unacceptable performance. I told him i wanted someone to listen to the call and the way he was treating a customer. He then disconnected me and it said due to technically difficulty there isn't survey for the call. The worst service ever!
