Great place to do business & all employees are great to deal with...

i moved my mother from chicago in 2009, i left an account open at tcf for my brother to use for incidental bills that might pop up i.e. medical. in november 2011, tcf started charging a $9.95 maintenance fee unless one kept $10k in combined savings or used a debit card at least 15 times per month. i received zero communication from them when the new policy started. i stumbled across it when i was doing my taxes. the customer service representative was very nice and professional, and, told me 3 times that tcf "really appreciated {my} business." when i asked if tcf would refund the 4 months of maintenance fees or even 2 months, the answer was "sorry...no." the fifth month was coming up in days, and, i asked if they would put a freeze on the next maintenance fee, and again got "sorry...no." tcf may not be a big baller like skankofamerica or jpmorgandisgrace, but, their long bony hand was able to reach across 2500 miles and steal $50 out of my pocket. nice going, you despicable, unethical, corporate smegma.

Love the convenience of this location and the staff is always super friendly and very quick to get things done. TCF has been nothing but good to me.

This is one the best TCF branches when it comes to c service staff here is well trained, helpful and professional.
