    I’ve been unable to transfer money to my external bank from my TFCU savings account due to the Core platform upgrade. Still waiting for the two micro deposits issue to get resolved so I can actually access my money without going to the bank several towns over. Please provide your customers an ETA. I have called several times and no update or info. Edit: I tried your suggestion (Business Owner's Reply) and your system says it is unable to add the account and to wait 48 hours. This is bad customer service, your reps should be explaining all of this when we call your customer support line. I guess I will now have to drive to your bank just to withdraw money to deposit into my external bank. I will be looking for another bank that provides better customer service.

    We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we navigate our new system. If you set up your external account prior to April 8th and are still waiting for your micro deposits, you will need to remove the account and try again. To do this, enter the micro deposits incorrectly 3 times to purge the account from the system. Once this is complete, you can re-enter the account information. Micro deposits will be deposited within 1-2 business days. Once received you can complete the verification process and utilize your external account.     This place is something else, been with them 6+ years but I started experiencing problems once i actually starting utilizing my checking account, the daily limits were always preventing me from paying my rent or any other bill over &1k on time, the customer service is horrible, they close at 5 pm some days, if u call after 445 they just pick uo and hang up, i once had a teller actually lie and tell me she had increased my limit while i sat in line at the cashier, she in fact did not ao i had to call back and be directed through the automated self help after hours number… it was only 4:50pm, im still waiting for a call back from September of last year LOL! Unless im late on a car payment i cant get any customer service! My experience here was horrible aside from all my interactions with jose a loan specialist, i would NOT recommend this bank if you want to have control over your own money.

    I've had nothing but difficultly with this bank. Service is often unhelpful. Putting random holds on my account and then giving me diffcutilies getting rid of them. Overall very terrible experience and would highly recommend staying away.

Depending on the type of transaction performed, there may be certain holds based on regulations and policies as disclosed in our membership agreement. For example, if you deposit a personal check, the first $225 are available the 1st business day and the remaining funds will be available on the 2nd business day after the day of your deposit. If You deposit a $700.00 check on a Monday, $225.00 of the deposit is available on Tuesday. The remaining $475.00 is available on Wednesday.     TFCU is a favorite of mine! The staff members are very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. They enjoy a good laugh! TFCU also offers the best rates. I have been a satisfied customer for many years.

    This bank has the worst tech stack I have ever seen. They don't have check images/deposit tickets available in the bank portal. If you need an image, you must wait 2 business days. The best they can do is to "photo copy" check deposit, which worked in 1990, but not in 2021. Look elsewhere for a new bank account. EDIT: I don't have an account, but I have two bookkeeping clients who DO and I have to interact their banking portal on a daily basis.

    I had opened an account during a car purchase. Once car paid off I left money in savings account for a rainy day. Imagine my surprise when I checked randomly to find my savings account “inactive” and an inactive fee of nearly 5 dollars being deducted monthly. I would not recommend this bank at all. I have closed my account and I will save my money at a bank that doesn’t penalize those who save their money for a rainy day.

    Hi Tanya, We are sorry to hear that you were unaware of the inactive account fee, however it is disclosed on our Fee Schedule which you would have received when you initially opened your account and in TFCU publications that were sent periodically throughout the past few years. This fee is charged on accounts that have not had any activity for at least one year. The fee is not charged provided at least one transaction is performed on the account each year. Thank You, TFCU

    This credit union will Not help its members with securing a loan. Pay off a predatory high interest auto loan. Make every payment for 6 years. You think this would help your chances securing a modest loan with fair/good credit. I think as members we should use are power in numbers to realign the leverage for us to benefit. I am going to start working right away to expose this credit union. All of my time will be focused on changing how TFCU treats it's members.

    Worst bank I have ever had! Constantly shutting down my card for minute purchases like buying a drink from a vending machine, and then whenever I need to deposit or withdraw from their ATMs (all locations) : IT IS NEVER AVAILABLE! FIX YOUR BROKEN HARDWARE OR WE WILL BE SWITCHING SOON!

Are you able to let us know which locations you’ve attempted to deposit or withdraw from and what error it was giving you? We are not aware of any TFCU owned machines being unavailable recently. For the debit card purchases, for your security, all transactions that are performed out of state or out of the country ad blocked to prevent fraud.     I've had so many different banks in past and taunton federal is the best bank I've ever had, the tellers are ALL NICE, all the costumers are friendly and helpful too. They deal with a lot of different people and situations and always have smile on there faces. Only thing is the first drive thru (the one on the left if your in middle going thru the line) it doesn't sound clear, the tellers voice is all static so if your needing to have conversation just dont use that one, but everything else is great!! best bank I've ever had!!

    Absolutely worst bank to deal with. My husband bought a car a few months ago and first payment was due yesterday. As of today we have still not received a bill or coupon booklet or however you are supposed to pay them. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and they sent a letter with the loan information.
