I want to say thank you to the employees of Synovus Bank at the Overton location for their extreme professionalism and knowledge they have to help us customers. They have exemplified the true meaning of customer service on numerous occasions. Their lead Senior Banker Jessica Rehmann was a tremendous help when it came to my personal banking. The whole team there goes above and beyond the call to satisfy us customers and I want to say thank you for everything you do.

Let's just start with the unacknowledged wait at the drive thru teller. It's happened so often I started going inside thinking service would be better & go figure, it isn't. Just dry & unpleasant from the old location on Akers Mill to this new one. I do business transactions here with someone who banks with them (& have been for four (4) years) but I definitely wouldn't choose to otherwise. I actually dread it. Every single person I've encountered has been short with little to no eye contact & simply unfriendly & uninterested.

The branch is always very clean, and the lines (if any) are really fast even during lunch hours, which is important because lunch is usually the only time I can get into the bank! The staff is always friendly and they always have the answers to my questions.

This is my first time ever using this bank. The teller didn’t have on a name tag so I couldn’t see his name. He was whit guy look to be in his late 20s early 30s. He didn’t want to touch my hand for one. I told him I want to cash a check he asked me was the check cleared. I never had a bank teller ask me was the check cleared. I am pretty sure he would have known if The check cleared once he ran it through the system. He pushed my check to me and the ink print and didn’t say anything. I asked him which finger to use and he stated the thumb and didn’t say anything other that.He asked to see my DL. I took it out of my wallet and was waiting on him. I said “Did you still need to see my DL? He pointed at the counter and said”put it here “. I just looked at him and laughed like wow. I held my DL in my hand so he could get the info. I had to ask was he finished. While the teller was completing my transition a white male walk in and he started talking to him like I wasn’t standing there. He asked did I want an envelope I said “No.” He laid my money on the counter and didn’t say anything.didn’t count my money back to me and laid the money on the counter. Didn’t make eye contact with me at all. A white male came in and he started talking with him as if I wasn’t standing there.I could have made a scene but I didn’t. I asked to speak with a manager.The sad thing is that he didn’t care by the look on his face. I don’t understand how he could be that way especially since his manger and coworkers are minorities. The manger took my statement and Said she will follow up with me.I was seriously thinking about opening an account with this bank and he just ruined that.
