Ok, any comment saying “they are great to work with “ is an employee. They either provide no training or hire temps to just spitball answers. This has not been a “bad” experience, but an extraordinarily horrible experience. It’s not just one employee, it is every employee. They have no experience with fraud which is the only reason to have credit card. Please don’t underestimate my opinion. Steer clear of this money store.

Thanks to this company I'll spend my money somewhere else where I get treated better. I've been getting my credit score up by making regular payments and paying off my debt and then Synchrony cut my credit limit by 75%.

Just run. Like everyone else says. If you need a card, citi does a LOT better of a job. They aren't perfect, but so much better than this shittastic company.

I have called 6 times now to correct an error that was to do with their website and it has not been resolved. Several of the managers for customer service have been terse and downright rude. I will never do a zero down promotion again with this institution. I had the same experience as Jeff posted below - I have been in good standing for 2 years but dealt with a customer service rep named Destiny who was nothing like her name.

Worst financing experience ever. Financed some furniture and 4 months later they lower my limit by 67% for no reason which hurt my credit. Don't do business with this bank. They really do deserve no stars.

Before you Apply for Any Type of Credit that uses This Bank...Don't waste your time. ..They deny Everyone with less than 700 Credit Score. ..They Suck..I hope they get caught on something similar to Wells Fargo. ..Because they appear to be related lol

it is the worst bank to use, they will locked your accounts for weeks so you can pay that late fees. they are scammers.

Corrected: It took some times but they got back to me and worked out the issues. The ceo can really improve the service issues that come into her inbox but it ultimately got handled. Thank you!

We made payment arrangement with staff in India; instead of 250.00 they took 604.00 resulting in hundreds of overdraft fees and other unpaid bills. Mgmt never called back and we're told nothing can be done. we've been customers of GE Credit for over 20 years, including a mortgage. Since Synchrony the services has gone into the toilet.

My experience with GE Capital Retail this afternoon was horrendous, and that is being kind. Having dealt with a Customer Service Rep named BETTY, I am on the verge of closing every single account associated with this company. I have been a customer in good standing for a long time and I do not expect such poor service and jacked-up attitude when I call to make an inquiry. BETTY felt it was necessary to argue with me at every turn. Clearly she possess an attitude that she has all the power and can act out in any way that suits her. In a normal business setting this kind of behavior would never be tolerated. GE Capital surely realizes her actions reflect poorly on the entire company. If they do nothing, it reinforces said reflection.
