Please be aware if you get a credit card with suncoast. If you fall on short times, they WILL deny you access to your savings/checkings account . I have been with them for 15 years and the way I was treated due to having financial issues was the worst in my life . Please be mindful of this . Imagine falling short on your credit card and then you can’t access any of your money to pay your rent , get food, get gas .. anything . They even restricted my children’s account . Loyalty means NOTHING! Then when you call you are treated like scum . As if people don’t run into hard times. I’m glad that now there are several other credit unions in Tampa that offer better services than them . I brought my account current with them and closed all my accounts . Just a word of advice for anyone. You never know what the future holds so be careful when deciding to get a credit card with them !

Awful, awful, awful. Stay away, terrible service. They act like you should put up with bad service just because they are cheap. No Thanks! I would gladly pay more to not deal with this group

Disappointing customer service. Needed a copy of my car's title to register the car. I had to call 2 times, each time at least 45 minutes on the phone, and sent 4 emails to get this copy.

Got a credit card promo a year ago and checked my statement recently and it wasn't on there. Called member services who said I was never given a promo and didn't seem to care or resolve my issue and later told me to go in a branch and handle it myself. I recommend not get anycard with this credit union because they do not have integrity, nor honor their promos, or care about their members. Highly disappointed with their services.

I live locally and I have had to deal with the interior of the bank a few times, however my experiences inside have been great! Rashaad Carty was great to work with in my last dealings! I signed in via the electronic device and waited maybe 10 or 15 minutes, so no complaints here... they do have free wifi for those of you who can't live without your nose in your phone! Their outside drive-thru ATM's can be annoying sometimes because they won't accept "checks" when you try to make a deposit, but usually the ATM at the banks main entrance works fine. They have the updated ATM's as well where it pulls your card completely into the machine... that could make some people a little nervous, though.

Rude customer service personnel and not very helpful. Had woman named "Shonda" at E. Hillsborough Ave location that needs some training in people skills. Employees need to understand that people that keep you employed and an attitude of politeness is definitely needed at ALL. Maybe she was having a bad day but professionalism says it should not be able to notice. Won't be back.

I use to love this bank. But I got ill. I couldn't go to bank. I only had 1 person I gave a check to monthly. Same person. It was for my rent. Might be two checks at times cause they would refuse to cash it due to my handwriting due to eyesight problems. Instead of calling me. That person would have to come back to me so I could rewrite the check. So last month I called customer service to let them know that person same one was coming in the bank to cash the check. I told them the name. I told the person. I told the amount. I even said the time. Please cash the check. It was for 600 . Customer service said there be no problem. I sad please state he comes in every month for rent. It might be two checks but still it would equal to 600. They inform him he had to give more then I'd. He had to be a customer of that bank to cash check. He said no. So they inform him they will not cash my check even if I did have an amount plus loan with them and been banking for at least 2 or more years. The only reason I am still there is because I am too fatique to change over. The customer service have went down. Oh, yes I did try to reach an complaint Dept, supervisor. No, nobody returned my calls. But forcing people to open an acct when the member was the one who had the acct. Bad enough I was elderly and warn them that same persome was cashing. But making people go back to rewrite it because I darken the date ink due to poor eyesight. Poor management. They could have call me and ask security questions. The person could have called. Anyway, I use to brag about that bank but it has changed. Esp if you are elderly and have a disability. They don't care.

It's side that this place made my grandmother think that she had an life insurance policy that my mom was supposed to get when she passed but when we went to collect in order to help with the funeral cost we found out that my grandmother had been paying for an accidental death policy. My grandmother would've never paid for this policy if she would've known that it was accidental & not life insurance. They took advantage of an elderly lady & profited from her. Shame on your company!!!!!! Don't bank with them!!!!!
