I had done multiple real estate transactions and it got to the point where the stress of the lending process was holding me back and making me put off looking for homes ... The lack of communication, having to re-print and resend things multiple times because the lender team was not processing things quickly enough, everything coming down to the last second before closing and wondering if it was going to happen at all. It doesn’t have to be that way! I was just working with the wrong lender (though it sounds like this is the unfortunate standard in this industry). But for our most recent home, we were lucky enough to be referred to use Jonathan Lange. I kept wondering when all the stressful rushed moments of him telling me he needed 15 documents in the next hour would happen… They never did.
