Summer Winds Salter Path Rd, Atlantic Beach

The location, staff and hotel pools were amazing; however, our room was not very good. Our ac wasn't very good, water pressure wasn't very good and the dryer took forever- if it even dried them at all.

My family and I have stayed here 3-4 times now. My family and I love it here. There are plenty of pools to enjoy, our rooms are always very clean, and we haven't had any problem with the staff. We also enjoy the restaurant in the one building. The food is okay, but some of the drinks are fantastic.

I absolutely loved our stay at Summer Winds. I have seen many reviews about people saying how the staff was very rude here and how they demanded you to have your wristband on at all times. I for one must say that, that is not true. Yes, the staff wants you to have your wristbands on while on the property. The staff however, did nothing but make me and my family feel welcome.The condo was amazing too. The room me and my family were at was very close to the outdoor pool and the beach. I 100% recommend staying at Summer Winds for your vacation.

Great place fun family experience! But condo 109 is a dump.stay away!

We are currently staying here for the week. The security guards are relentless. We are hassled constantly (at least twice daily) about wearing bracelets. They are often rude and questioning. One example - I was wearing one at the pool, but my 4 year old was not b/c it literally falls off of him - too big. One security guard gave us a hard time about it, but another security guard told me that they are only required for 10 and older. We are a well-behaved family, but see other families being constantly hassled, so I feel others must be having this experience too. We will not be buying or renting here again, and will encourage others to do the same. Such a disappointing place to stay.

We are currently staying here and have no serious issues. We get to know some homeowners and strive to respect their solitude and investment. I can only imagine their frustration with unruly vacationers abusing the ammenties. The owners obviously are particular about the appearance of the property and it shows. We must remember that we are guests at these folks home. I recommend this complex.

Me and my family have been going here for 11 years and it’s always the highlight of my summer! The food at Ginger’s cafe is so delicious, and the staff was very polite and nice! The pools are very cooling during the hot heat so it’s always nice for me to go down and enjoy a quick swim! The beach is absolutely beautiful and the arcade is super fun as well! The rooms are always so pretty when you first walk in! Always blessed to go here each summer!😍

Love Summer winds so much we bought a condo of our own there!

We rented several units for a weeks vacation. We wore our wrist bands and were continually questioned by the security guard if we had units there! One incident occurred when I was walking up the steps to my unit and security asked if I had a wrist band on and I showed it to him and said yes. He started yelling at me and followed me to my unit where my husband met us. Needless to say there were words exchanged. The security guard was rude, highly aggressive, and was threatening to kick us out. Not to mention He was in our face with absolutely no social distancing or mask. Sandy from HOA did say that they have trespassers all the time and people steal the bracelets to get on the property! It seems to me they need to figure out a more effective policy then bracelets if your paying guests are wearing them and the security guard still has to question whether you are a guest there! The staff & security made it clear they do NOT want families to vacation at their “resort”. Not worth getting treated like a criminal...spend your money somewhere else!!

5 Stars C224 was beautiful, and very clean. The beach theme decor was beautiful and comfortable at the same time. The view from the deck was spectacular. All the pools were nice and you were just steps away from the beach. It was our families favorite vacation so far. We made wonderful memories and hope to go back many years to come.
