Made appt for an oil change and a recall. They did the recall but not the oil change. Now I have to find the time to take it back. Update: Thank you Subaru of Corvallis for taking care of me. Changed from 2 to 5 stars.

I love taking my car in for service at Corvallis Subaru. The staff are kind and clear about the service ordered and costs. An the mechanics do a perfect job the first time. I wouldn’t have anyone else work on my Subaru.

I've gone here 3 times now. Not great, first time I came in to get my tires changed. They had my car from 7am and they called me a 3pm to say they ordered the wrong tires and would need to reschedule. So had to take it in a second time for my tires. Night after getting my car back, my passenger side starts leaking water when I ran the AC or heater. Scheduled an appointment. First tell me it should an hour over the phone, came in for my appointment and they said an hour and a half. 3 hours later I get my car and they say a sharpie got stuck somewhere in a tube.... which was causing it to leak water...... that took 3 hours and $240 later? Have not been impressed with this place. It has just been the closest subaru dealership. Will reconsider bringing it back here for servicing or getting a new car.

I bought my first ever Subaru through Subaru of Corvallis this last weekend. I've had a truck up until now and it just was not practical anymore and keeping the thing fueled was costing too much. My salesmen were Steve.... And the other Steve. Before any questions were asked I jumped straight into why I was there. I had my truck I wanted something much more fuel efficient but still able to enjoy my drive and that I was thinking about a wrx. We walked the lot and found the one I was looking at online and toured it. Not wanting to waste time I just wanted to get straight to the numbers and see what we could do. Both Steve's were very open to this. Once I knew the numbers were within my budget I took it for a test drive. With the blessing of my Wonderful wife and the fact that it was a 4 door so that I could tote baby easily I decided it was the vehicle I wanted. Although the process took a little longer than expected I knew they were working hard to make sure I got the best rate and i did. Once everything was ready the paperwork was quick and explained in detail. One of the Steve's was so fantastic to find my wife the cargo cover for her 2019 Forester that we had purchased two weeks earlier from another dealership. Unfortunately not Subaru of Corvallis as it was just the right time, place and price when we got it. Used with 10k miles. The facility was clean and comfortable. I didn't feel pushed to purchase at all during the process. I will be returning my business with this dealership in the future if there is a need and I would happily recommend any future business to them as I was taken care of very well. I contacted this dealer to inquire about a used truck in their inventory and on their web site. I received a response from their customer care specialist Allison David's and have nothing but positive things to say about the way I was treated and she was very helpful in getting me the information that I needed to make the decision to schedule a test drive. Unfortunately that is where her job ends as she has to refer the customer to a "Sales consultant" Unfortunately that is where the excellent customer service ended! Do to issues in dealing with the dealership and their sales consultant I was unable to purchase the truck from them. In my opinion they need to look at how ALL customers are treated after they are referred to sales consultants! What was a very pleasant interaction to start with went bad and I can't say if I'd refer some one to this dealership! Allison keep up the good work and maybe in the future I can send a customer your way!

Scheduled two cars for a recall, they only had one scheduled when I arrived. Got a call that both were done, when we returned one wasn't ready and they were trying to find it. Apparently someone grabbed the wrong key and they were getting ready to do an oil change on it. Not the most reassuring actions considering a dealer is suppose to be the best...

I really hate to leave a one-star review as I've had a great relationship with this dealer for the last 7 years; however, a recent negative event compels me to share my experience. I purchased a Subaru Outback from here 7 years ago and opted for the added maintenance security agreement, which is basically like a warranty that would cover the cost of any major maintenance issues for the next 7 years. The signed contract and agreement was that at the end of the 7 years, if you need didn't use the agreement your money ($2,200) would be refunded in full. Well it came time for me to receive my refund as my car never had any issues, and it turns out there's some bad news: the company who backed the agreement went under several years ago. Since they are no longer in business, they can't pay back any refunds. No one ever thought to tell us this several years ago when it happened, unfortunately. You can imagine my extreme disappointment on counting on receiving this large sum of money then being told this news. What makes matters worse is that we just purchased two new cars from this dealer last month with two more added maintenance agreements (we hadn't yet learned about the above news). The Subaru dealer said they would look into what they could do for us since we had just purchased more cars from them and have been good customers. Apparently "looking into it" means never contacting us back, avoiding our calls, and pretending like nothing ever happened. I am appalled by this level of customer service and that this dealer won't take any sort of responsibility for their decision to use an unstable company to back their maintenance agreements; instead they are letting the financial repercussions fall completely on the customer. I wouldn't have purchased that agreement in the first place if the deal wasn't to receive your investment back. Shame on you Subaru for taking advantage of your customers and providing this level of service. I won't be purchasing any more cars here, and if you are car shopping, I recommend taking your business to another dealer in the region.

This review only pertains to their sales department, as I haven't brought in my car for a service yet. The internet manager Rebecca got me a great deal (much better than the Subaru dealer in Salem was offering) on a 2015 Outback. She answered about a million of my questions and was extremely helpful. They even helped me register the car in a different state, which was a big pain. It still took hours and hours to actually drive away with the car even though I had been arranging everything in advance for days, but I suppose it's always this way with car buying.
