    Dave Hanks was patient, instructive, and helpful as he listened to my saga of test driving many other cars. He explained the features, trim levels, and options. He stayed 2 hours after close on a Sunday night to make sure I had driven all three Subarus that would likely fulfill my desire for driver seat comfort, cargo space (soccer dad/ teacher), and fuel efficiency. He was candid and straight forward when it came to comparing other brands strengths vs Subaru and within the different trims and models of Subaru. He was not pushy nor did he try to up-sell me on any unnecessary features. He encouraged me to try the different models, take my time, and research so as to get the best model for my back issues. I was going to buy a Prius V, but I am seriously rethinking the New Subaru Forrester based on the seat comfort and my experience with Dave.

    Went in for scheduled service and had a great experience. Everything was done as promised. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff in the service department. Over the years doing business with Steve Lewis Subaru my self and wife have always had a worry free experience with this dealership!

    Get all quotes in writing because they DON'T stick to them. They take forever to get stuff done and they don't do everything you ask them to do. Also they should have noticed that the rotors were all rotted out and they didn't see it/didn't mention it the last time I had my tires chaned. Because of this my break pads wore down quicker and I now have to spend $ getting that all fixed. Also the noise that my car kept making when I turn? That Steve Lewis Subaru couldn't diagnose the three times I brought it up. It was a cracked axle. Don't know why that couldn't be diagnosed the first time. Also it's broken again because in the words of my new Subaru dealership mechanic: "It likely wasn't fixed correctly the first time" And the time that my car battery kept dying (weekly) and Steve Lewis just kept saying it wasn't a problem? I replaced the battery and the problem never happened again. They just didn't want to be the ones to replace it because the battery was still under warranty. I've wasted thousands of dollars at Steve Lewis Subaru for a them to do a terrible job every single time. If I could give them zero stars I would. They don't deserve anyone's business. In fact, I view them as thieves and you should be wary of any work you have done by them. We go to a different Subaru dealer now to get things dealt with and my mechanics words are thus: "I've never seen anything like what they did"

    This was my first car purchase from a dealer, and it was a great experience. I had been planning on buying a new car in about six months, and to get rid of my very old Honda Accord ('93), which I no longer trusted for long trips. A family emergency had me combing the Internet for a new set of wheels, and shortly afterward taking a drive by Steve Lewis Subaru late one Sunday. Peter Lustenberger was on his way home but stopped to talk with me. He was very friendly and a good listener. He emphasized that they were a "no pressure" dealer and gave me his card. About a week later I went back and decided on a used 2010 Mazda3 which was listed at a good price, and was in great shape. The fact that the dealer provides a free Carfax report up front was very helpful. Peter was pretty low key about pushing the sale, and let me look at everything I wanted to on the car. He had no trouble with me financing it through my own credit union, and was happy to wait while I slept on the decision and considered some details about the transaction. They took care of all the paperwork, licensing, etc., and even threw in a few perks, including shampooing the front seat (it had a small stain, being a used car after all, which I hadn't even noticed). A nice touch. Myron, the business manager, was quick and efficient and friendly. It was a totally pain-free experience. I love the car, got it at a good price, they picked me up from home, and was driving it two days after my first test drive. I did all the insurance and financing in a few phone calls, and didn't have to go to the RMV. Although I didn't do a trade-in, Peter gave me good advice about selling or disposing of my clunker. This dealership clearly has a reputation-based, relationship-based business strategy, which I appreciate -- not to mention a tire loyalty program that I benefited from right away. Peter clearly likes working there and was easy to relate to. If you are nervous about a first-time dealer experience (like I was), go see Peter at Steve Lewis Subaru!

    I had a great experience at Steve Lewis Subaru. It was my first time buying a new car and I shopped around to a few dealerships. Steve Lewis was the only dealership that I didn't feel like a tadpole in a shark tank. They gave me the information that I was looking for and did not pressure me into an answer. Highly recommended!

    We had another delightful experience buying our second Subaru Outback from Joe and Glenn at Steve Lewis. It's worth noting...car buying can be very easy if you study your choices, and KNOW what you want in terms of style, color(s), and other options....BEFORE sitting down to negotiate a purchase. Nowadays, it's easy to get a sense of a reasonable price by doing your homework, by searching other dealers offerings to get a sense the "market" for the car you want....and Joe, Glenn and the rest of the team will be there to help you get that car!

    Our experience at Steve Lewis Subaru is with the Service Department and it is has been the worst experience we have ever had with any auto mechanic. We have taken the car to them no less than six or seven times over the last 18 months spending nearly $4000 on repairs with them. It is no exaggeration to say that more than 60% of the time, the car came back to us with something wrong with it that was not an issue when we brought it in. We know that sounds crazy, but it is absolutely true. We have had to go back after bringing our car home from a repair there three or four times to get them to fix or put back together something they did while they had the car. Additionally, we have had issues where we did not get the car back when we were told we would on two of those occasions. On one of them they kept our car for an extra week on what was supposed to be a one day repair. They also messed up our detailing. We had an interior detailing done and were told there would be a strong smell from the cleaning supplies for a couple of days. Three weeks later, the smell inside the car is still so outrageously strong that it forces us to drive with windows down, regardless of how cold it may be. Bottom line, and I can not underline and bold this enough times...I WOULD NOT take your car to Steve Lewis for service.

    I had the fantastic car shopping exprerince at Steve Lewis Subaru and I am happy to give them my highest rating !! My wife and I heard many good things about the Outback and also had a group of friends who strongly recommended all the services at Steve Lewis Subaru. My salesperson, Todd Gerry did a excellent job of presenting the Outback and all its features and benefits. He was patient with all my questions and expert with his product knowledge of the different Subaru models ! what a great car and and what a great consultant Todd is !! It did not take long to realize that the Outback was the car for us !! Todd with help from Myron Callender and Joe Clark made the car buying experience pleasant and completely stress free !! The paper work easily done , I got a nice introduction to the good folks in the Service Department as I planned my first oil change and we were off in our beautiful new Outback in no time at all !! To me, Steve Lewis Subaru defines what is the best about a locally owned business , they take good care of thier customers and are always finding ways to support and give back to the local community. I am a thrilled to be a new Subaru owner but more importantly also so pleased to be able to do business with the good people at Steve Lewis Subaru !!!
