State Home Mortgage states I was behind 60 days in my mortgage payments but the Credit Union states the checks were cashed. The rep. from the mortgage company request I mail a money order, cashier's check or Western Union because the bank takes to long to mail the check. Nope! Will not happen! I will continue to use the bank as a form of payment and also to keep a paper trail

Sold me a house for 116000 that was only worth 47000 and then foreclosed on me after having it 10 years.they should be shut down! Oh the ga dept of whatever services that state home shares a building with paid my Fannie may lone after they foreclosed which it even says in my documents that I am solely responsible to pay that back and then tried to get me to pay the taxes on it which I refuse. Not fraud huh?

Can’t get anyone on the phone. I’m not behind on any of my payments but for some reason my home owners insurance isn’t being paid. Just got another letter stating my insurance has been canceled. Plus I’m paying an extra $200 a month for a shortage that I don’t have. Worst company ever.

This company is the WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely hate this company, I'm looking for another company. From the customer service, the reps you speak with. The raised my mortgage up without notifying me of anything.. Its not my escrow or anything so why in the heck is it raised... Worst company ever!!!!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! I have been calling for 45 minutes with no answer. Not even a automated voice!!! I guess i’m going to have to make the drive to atlanta to speak with a actual person. This is absolutely inconvenient, lazy and inexcusable for a business. My online account has been locked for over a year with no luck getting back in. Do human beings even work here????

There is no one to answer the phone. The customer service representatives send you to different departments and you don’t get an answer to your question. If you press a certain divisions number the phone line hangs up. The worst mortgage service!

Cannot pay mortgage over phone, no one answers, phone disconnects. No response to email inquiries.

Run by the State of Georgia's Housing and Finance Authority, Department of Community Affairs. I cannot ever recommend this lender. I would give them negative stars if I could. @Keyron - Once they did just what you are worried about - not paying homeowner's insurance. I got multiple calls from my insurance company saying that they were going to cancel my homeowner's coverage if I didn't pay up. Well, State Home had my money for it, but they were just not sending out the money as they were supposed to do.

I have been calling State Home for several weeks trying to get someone to answer the phone and reset my online account! I am locked out of their new online account and I have called for weeks and weeks both the local and 1800 numbers and I cannot get in contact with them!! Someone needs to answer the phone!

It takes an act of Congress to get through to an actual speaking person! But wait to make your payment and they will be calling everyday wanting to know when a payment will be made. Worst company ever in regards to customer service.
