State Employees’ Credit Union Guess Rd, Durham

This particular branch of the North Carolina State Employees Credit Union is pretty good in my opinion. They don't tend to get busy on the interior except for at the end of day, especially on payday. The staff is always polite and amiable. As it has its own parking lot, there is no hassle from shoppers and drivers with other goals. The drive thru ATM is well-positioned, private enough for your banking needs, and still relatively safe at night. My only complaint is that there isn't an ATM that you can easily walk up to you on the exterior. Well you can walk up to the one in the Drive-Thru, it's always a little bit awkward when you have a line of cars waiting behind you and you're doing that.

I’ve had only good experiences with this SECU branch! The tellers are very thorough and conscientious, so it does sometimes take a little while to get through the line... but I’d rather than be careful than sloppy in their work.

Called to get a pre-qual and Charity straight up told me that she was too busy for me. I've always had decent experience at SECU, but this branch gave me my first bad one. Needs improvement in customer service.

Submitted a wire transfer request by the deadline of one day and when I called as the money hadn’t moved, they told me it would be another business day altogether. Terrible service! This is not how a wire transfer should work. Totally delayed our closing

I seldom do reviews and definitely not for my bank but ..Charity is rude! No smile no hello no thank you have nice day. She just sat behind her desk with a huge frown.

If you get Charity, ask for another banker. Not a nice bone in her body. Really sad they let someone like this work for SECU was not knowledgeable of banking and ran my credit without asking or having me sign anything.

Ran over on my lunch break.. check in.. then waited outside for a loan to be cosigned, by me.. at 45 min called to tell them I'm on my lunch break, that I have to leave, and find out they are at lunch....unacceptable

We have been going almost exclusively to this branch for a long time. We have always been pleased with them I can,t recall a negative experience.

Courteous, helpful, accommodating. Great location. 37+ yrs a SECU customer. Keep up the great job SECU!

You can never get help or a phone call back from nobody but it's a few thats nice but one lady has a nasty attitude
