Have had a account with them for over 20 years be they changed from community bank to south state bank and was happy with them until these last few years. I am at the point now that I will be looking for a new Bank and closing my account. I am tired of being charged for there mistakes. Any Good Banks in Toccoa Ga. Area.

bank closes early doesn't even Post hours on the door you have to go and call customer service and then it takes forever and they want to place you on hold

My wife has banked with southstate for over 15 years while she receives a government check they informed her that her overdraft protection was permanently taken away even though she receives her SSI at that bank they still penalized her for the 30 day overdraft protection knowing they always get her money on the first! So we tried talking to many bank employees and got the same answer that her long time standing with the bank does not matter! So if u get a government check think twice in using southstate bank ! I know we are looking for a new bank that can meet our needs

Only one person working drive thru. Not open for inside banking. Takes forever. The line is usually wrapped around to the side of the building even with all three lanes open.

Worst bank ever...cant keep account straight and never open..drive through closed on saturday when they are suppose to be open
