Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union E Fairmount Ave, Lakewood

My uncle recommended me to Jim Whites because he bought a car from this place and he was very happy. So I went there because my uncle told me about a Toyota Rav4 and as soon as I saw it i really liked the car. They helped me through the process and got me approved through Southern Chautauqua credit Union and they were wonderfull!! Cierra did everything she needed to do to get me approved for the loan and I got a good low monthly payment on the car and good coverage by them. They were very polite and explained everything to me. I got to test drive my car today and it drove like a brand new car. Very please with my car and cant wait to finally have it. My all expierence was very good definitely would recommend this jim whites if your looking for a good car and southern chautauqua credit union is a good place to go if you need a loan. Deserves 5 stars both places

On my way in a cockroach grabbed me and body slammed me to the floor and proceeded to rob me of anything this bank hasn’t. Unfortunately for the roach it was only $0.28 because the bank took the rest

I have been a member of this bank for 4 years and have had a wonderful experience, until today. I called and spoke to a teller regarding a very simple, but important issue with my mobile banking app and was spoken to in an impatient, rude and unkind way by an unwilling employee. Because the issue was unresolved, I will have to call the branch every time I would like to check my balance. I am afraid of having a similar experience every time I have to call in the future and for that reason, I will be switching banks. I should be treated with dignity and respect by employees, regardless of how frustrating the issue is.

My Wife has a 5 year car loan through this bank. this being the last year on the loan.(6 months left on the loan) they decide to tow our car cuz its two payments behind.(thats included in with the 6 months left) we couldnt pay BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC, But they dont care. now we cant do anything about it and they wont work with us on the payments to get the car back. so this place gets a 0 review from us.

No safe deposit boxew, customer service has gone to hell in past 10 years due to rapid growth and opening many new branches. Majority of employees don't have a clue. Can't perform simple teller duties so customer must babysit and watch them close for mistakes. Older employees, which r few and far between r very knowledgeable and helpful.

Fast banking, A+ service, and all the employees are friendly and have great smiles !. The only con here is they moved their westfield branch to brocton so I have to drive to lakewood to do my banking.

DESERVES ZERO RATING! TERRIBLE CREDIT UNION SCFCU is EXTREMELY hypocritical! They claim to be all for the member and not like other CUs or banks but they are liars! The "business owner" is a crook and a sneaky, shady man. He uses employees for what he needs then throws them away. If the man behind the business is shady and untrustworthy, there is no way I am trusting the business with my money.

Worst people around here ! They make up as they go n take your money! Every person at both locations are the condescending arrogant just real p.o.s! They make mistakes constantly and blame you. Can't Not Anyone there! F em!!!

Great small credit union. Everyone had been helpful and friendly. Much better than your average bank.

Got a very easy loan without much hassle. Very customer oriented.
