    I've been with this bank for 9 years! Awesome atmosphere with very friendly workers. Any need I have that may arise is taken care of. The staff also gave me very helpful information regarding the types of accounts I have available to me along with answering other questions I had. Simplicity also helped me with my first vehicle loan with competitive interest rates.

    I have been a member for at least three or four years. The staff has been nothing but friendly and relatable both on the phone and in person. I see many people reviewing complaining about hours and attire. I have never not been able to access and pull my money when I've needed it. Simplicity offers 24/7 mobile banking which allows me to do virtually everything I'd need to physically go to a bank for (aside from pulling money, which I can easily do at an ATM). While I've never noticed a casual attire, I know I would absolutely prefer my credit union employees to appear and dress on my level (blue jeans and a tee). This will make me feel like I am in a much more relaxed atmosphere, thereby making me feel much more comfortable. Keep up the good work, Simplicity!

    Can't trust this bank with your money! My debit card keeps getting switched to an address and zip code I've never lived at! Happened twice in the last year! My wife's card was hacked last Christmas ( I wonder why? ^) and they refused to give her money back. Don't trust them with your hard earned money!

The Simplicity Team works hard to protect you, but sometimes in that hard work we don't take the time to make sure you know why things are happening. Fraud can happen, even if you're really careful and your Credit Union has all of the security they can, but you shouldn't go through that without at least a good explanation and some helpful steps to prevent it. We're going to make sure our VP of Service knows about this review and see if there's anything we can do to mend this relationship, ok?

    I have been with this credit Union for over 15 years. There have been many changes over the years. I must say the building looks nice and that's about all. The hours are not convenient for the members but convenient for the staff. They say that age is not a fact on who they hire but it sure looks that way! The Credit Union says that they let the staff dress how they want so that they are comfortable because they are not a bank. Sounds like the credit union has shift it's priorities to pleasing the staff and not so much about the members.

There is a lot of thought that goes into anything we do and when we do decide to change something the first thing we consider is the impact on our whole membership. Our hours are a perfect example of that, so we're glad you brought that up. We hope you don't mind if we take the time to explain. For us to both attract new members and keep our current members, we have to keep moving forward to the technology that people demand of us, things like mobile banking and remote check deposit. Eventually we came to a place where we realized that our members could do almost anything they needed to do anytime, day or night, and keeping people staffing a branch and spending our members money to do it when there was such little need for it, well, that seemed irresponsible. So we looked at our hours really carefully, thought about what we had that would help the people who couldn't get to the branch, and made a change. We've helped a lot of people solutions that worked for them when we wouldn't be open on their schedule, and we're happy to do that for you if you haven't had the chance. Another change you mention is the way our team dresses, and we wanted to address it and clear up the impression you have. Yes, we've changed our dress code to allow more casual options, and sometimes, on special occasions, you'll see them in t-shirts or sweatshirts, but this is another great example of something we changed for the good of our membership. You see, we believe it's important for our people to have freedom to make smart choices, celebrate their accomplishments, and feel appreciated and comfortable in their jobs. We're working hard to make Simplicity a great place to work because great places to work have loyal employees and that will mean more experts on our team to serve our members.     i could die and an ambulance would get there faster than it takes to go through the drive through at hoover. takes 10 to 20 minutes to be helped after they help everyone else in line that has been there after you. kinda ready to switch to another bank that doesn't only have one open bank in a town of 24 thousand plus people

    Ok, lot's to unpack here, but first of all thank you for stopping by to give us some feedback. Second, and probably most important, we very much hope that never, ever happens and you live a long and healthy life. Now, the drive-thru: we know no one really LIKES to have to wait in the drive thru, but (as we're sure you understand), a lot of people have been relying on it over the last year and we know that's causing some traffic problems. Problems that just saying "our team works really, really hard to keep people happy and moving" won't solve, right? So how about some tips to get you out of the line faster? The big one is that there are times that the drive-thru is always going to be slammed and if you can avoid it then, you'll spend a lot less time waiting. Times like Thursday afternoons, Fridays almost all day, and the 1st and 3rd of the month. You know, times when a lot of people are getting paid all at once. If you get paid If you have to do your business at those times in the drive-thru, the next tip would be to avoid the first lane if we have other lanes open. Our team is good, but they can still only help one person at a time in the order they show up in the line. That means that if you're at the back of the first lane, and other lanes are shorter, folks are going to cruise through past you and you're going to get frustrated. Finally, we don't want to miss a chance to say that there are a TON of ways you could skip that drive-thru most of the time. We have online and mobile banking, mobile check deposit, debit cards with thousands of free ATMS all over the country. It's a pretty sweet set-up that will normally cost you $0 to enjoy so let us tell you more about that when you have the time, ok?

    Just created an account here and I have to say, phenominal customer service. They really make you feel taken care of here. My father also needs to switch accounts to one here in town, and he will be coming to simplicity. 10/10 would recommend.

    I have been a credit union member for thirty years. There has been so many changes, enough to make ones head spin! That being said, the one thing that has never changed is the friendliness of the staff!! Young, older casual dress or business suits the staff has always been very welcoming and accommodating. I am a little disappointed by the disappearance of Saturday hours. I need quarters for laundry and most retailers say, “we are not a bank” and will not sell them. As a woman in between the no technology era and so much change in technology I find it very difficult to understand some of the “new fangled” ways of doing things like depositing checks from a phone?! Wow! That’s kinda like when man first discovered fire in my book! I’m not sure it is a credit unions job, but hands on education for us “old” folks would be appreciated!

    I talked to someone that I think was a manager but they were all in blue jeans and sweatshirts or a plaid button up. Not very professional attire for a bank atmosphere. Couldn't help but notice that every counter worker appeared to be under 25 and no woman over size 6. Not impressed with the new image.
